Purina Deli-Cat Cat Food, 14 lbs.ES

My cats love the product. The reason I gave it 2 stars on money value is because since Purina is no longer making this food tje retailers that still have a supply are charging "highway robbery" for the product. I basically have been forced to pay this high price so as to not disappoint my cats as long as I can. I will buy some more soon even at the price it is selling for. At least the larger size is a better deal than the one lb. Box.at $13.

Purina quit making this and it has become more difficult to find. It has been a staple for our cats for many years. Purina says it's a profit issue so they really don't care about pets and pet owners as much as they say.That said, this is a great food and our cats gravitate to this all day long. Balanced nutrition and easy to feed.The prices on Amazon are way over what the going price was for this when available from Purina. Twice as much or more in many cases. We stocked up but will probably try another food when our supply dwindles.

Rupert is a picky eater. When we adopted him from ASPCA, they said that this was the only thing he would eat.I just spoke to Purina...Deli Cat has been discontinued. I mix this in with his 'good' (Royal Canin PR) food. He picks out the Deli Cat before he eats the Royal Canin. At .5 oz a day, this should last more than a year---hopefully without becoming stale.

My cat refuses to eat any other food whether dry or wet. She's been eating it for years and now it's being discontinued. I didn't like paying the high prices for it but my cat doesn't ask for much so I had no desire to change her food. It is common for felines to develop an alteration in nutrition causing dietary issues such as epigastric distress when suddenly the "old food" is discontinued. It would been have nice to know in advance the discontinuation of Deli Cat and offer an appropriate alternative. Thanks and Meow grrr. Sophie and her mom

Seller had it at a reasonable price. This cat food is now hard to get and other sellers were trying to price gouge,( which is not right). My cat is old and this is the only food he will eat. I don't know what I will do when this is gone if I am unable to get more.

My cat won't eat anything else. I don't know why but, that's a fact. Why was it discontinued. My cat is 14 years old and it's not fair that she has to be forced to eat otherFoods that she hates, and I've tried a few others. Purina should not have discontinued this Cat Food. I can't find this particular Food anywhere. Purina needs to get out of the business and maybe sell shoes or TP... Their rep is going down the tubes. Jjr.

I preferred getting this in four 3.5lb indestructible containers which I have kept over the 20 years I' bought the stuff since they make great storage containers but apparently they will no longer be offered. A good plan to rid the world of more plastic I think. My cat couldn't care less. It likes the stuff.

can not even begin to tell you how irritated I am that this product was discontinued just like that!!!you know how picky a cat can be about something like food!!!
