Make sure it is turned off while recharging
I bought this because electricity in England is going up massively. I really expected to be disappointed BUT .. I have had this lamp for a few months now and it is still going. I would recommend that you leave it on your window ledge in the mornings and make sure it is off, especially during Winter. Then when you need it, it's great.

It’s only solar powered. There is no cable at all.
The description online says there is a cable. I expected to be able to charge it indoors as well as by sun.
