Primus - Sailing the Seas of Cheese: Guitar and Bass Transcriptions (Play-It-Like-It-Is)

Sailing the Seas of Cheese is a killer album!! It's a must have transcription book for any guitar/bass player who enjoys Primus... The notations/tabs are extremely well put together... Any closer and you would need Les and Larry to come over to your house for private lessons.

All the songs I am able to play (all songs being on a 4 sting), I knew previously how to play them by ear. I can tell you that all of the tabs in this book are almost exactly how I figured them out to be. Upon a greater reveiw of the songs, there are very little differences to how they are actualy played. Overall a great buy for any bassist, an excellent buy for any Les Claypool or Primus fan. Owning a 6 string will give you full use out of this book since about half of the songs are on a 6 string.

世界的に有名な変態バンド、Primusのスコアです。バンドで最も有名なTommy the cat などをベースでコピーするために買いました。洋書なので当然全て英語表記であり、中身も曲毎に、パートやリフがバラバラに載っています。日本の親切な(？)スコアと違い、慣れるまでなかなか分かりにくいのですが、いまのところ市販されているPrimusのスコアはこのシリーズだけで、尚且つ元の曲が、鬼のように耳コピが難しい曲ばかりなので、とても役に立つ思います。ページの都合や、元の演奏が複雑で分かりにくいこともあって、原曲と少し違うように聞こえる箇所もありましたが、あくまで参考ということで・・・ファンの方は是非Primusの変態度全開なリフやメロディーを味わってください
