Stens 100-909 Air Filter

My mower was having a heck of a time staying running after being started as it would die after starting or die after the mower blade was turned on. I ended up looking up the model # on the old 40 yr old air filter and found this one as a direct match replacement. Pulled the old one out and popped this one in and my Craftsman mower purrs like a kitten now and stays running. Installation was literally 5 seconds. They did include nuts with two bolts to tighten the air filter cover, but my old ones have an easier plastic nut with handles so I kept using them instead.

It's the manufacturer's branded air filter for a Tecumseh engine on an old riding mower. Received as expected.

The air filter fit perfectly on my old Craftsman rear engine riding mower. Feels like a quality product with metal pieces where they should be and included two correct replacement nuts. They even included the foam pre-filter which also fit perfectly. Shipping was prompt and well protected. I would recommend this vendor.

Arrived on time, as advertised. Fit perfectly. Directions were confusing, though. They said to oil the filter but the tractor's manual said never oil the filter. I went with the manual.
