Antiglare Touch Screen Protector for Wacom Cintiq 21UX DTZ-2100D 1st Generation

After reading some of the more negative reviews here and buying the product anyway to try it out I have to say I'm glad I did. The slight tooth this adds is making a world of difference in feedback or feel even with the standard plastic nibs. I purchased my 1rst gen cintiq second hand and I think the original owner removed the factory coating because it' was like drawing on glass before. I can't speak to how this feels in comparison but it's better then most of the protectors I've used in the past on tablets for sure. It's not a rubbery friction or drag, its a textured friction resembling a very uniform paper texture. Installation of a film this large is definitely challenging but not impossible. I may have had an unfair advantage having done this with smaller screens in the past but all said I'm much happier with the results then I expected to be after reading some of the reviews here. The film was slightly too large but that was easy to fix with a razor after installing the film registered to 3 of the sides. It is a slightly matte film so there is a very very slight loss of image clarity but it's not nearly as bad as some of the factory films I've seen on tablets so I was quite satisfied with the trade off. Seeing how I have an older model cintiq and plan on getting a few years out of it I might stock up on these in case the manufacturer stops making them.

It is nothing but bubbles, it's a horror to apply. Just glue a piece of plastic to your 2500 dollar cintiq and you will do better than this garbage product. They give you a piece of cardboard with it to work out bubbles they claim it wont have. Thern they will charge you a restocking fee for the trash they sent you. They charge 30 bucks for this ? Unbelievable.

Unfortunately, it was impossible to get all the air bubbles out of it, and the sheet was so wide that it covered the buttons outside the tablets active area as well. Removing and replacing it on ended up leaving the sheet wrinkled, creased, and useless.

Yes, its a pain to get all the air bubbles out, same as with any screen protector of this size. But a little hard work using the enclosed "squeegee" card does the trick. I was first sent the wrong size, and before I had even realized it, I was sent a replacement of the correct size. Fits my 21UX perfectly, smooths out all the scratches that were on my screen previously so that I once again have a nice smooth drawing surface, with the same kind of tooth as the original Wacom screen. Glad I bought it, well worth the money!

I would not recommend this product. Bubbles all over and it’s fuzzy. It’s hard to see through.

Was delivered rolled up and a bit wrinkled, but with patience and working all the bubbles out with the included card and a credit card, it was applied to the screen of the Cintiq 21UX perfectly. It looks great and is worth peeling the old screen protector off and replacing it with this one. Brings new life to the Cintiq 21UX.

Bought this product mainly to reduce glare from the florescent lights above my cube that reflect on my cintiq. This product does not protect it at all from that and in some cases makes it worse. It did protect against the scratches that is produced from my wacom pen so I gave it one star. I have removed it from my cintiq and no longer use it anymore since it dulls the sharpness and colors the of cintiq.
