This is made out of really nice leather. That’s the good news.The bad news is that the handle definitely does NOT fit Lodge cast iron pans. Just today I got it so stuck on the handle that it took awhile to get it forced off again, and my husband finally had to do it, with help of my son pulling on the pan. Ridiculous. Waste of money. I’m not sure why they made this so narrow. And when I contacted the company to ask about it, they just said to get it wet and try to stretch it. Which I did. And it did not work.Do not recommend unless you have a cast iron pan with a very, very tiny handle.

We love the looks of these. They're a nice leather. Sturdy. Well-made. They are also very functional. Keeping our hands safe from the hot pan. Also serves as a good reminder that the pan is hot if it's just sitting on the stove with nothing on it and our minds forget it's been heated. Would buy again.

My step-daughter uses nothing but cast iron cookware so I gifted this set to her last Christmas. The set was packaged nicely so I didn't have to do much of a wrapping job. She's been using them nearly daily for the last 6 weeks and has nothing but rave reviews. Highly recommend!

These fit very well and provide both protection from the hot cast iron as well as grip for control of the pan. I feel much more confident when handling my hot cast pans now that I have these.

We are a big cast iron skillet home. I bought this from Hide & Drink a couple of years ago. Not only are these high quality and stylish. It allows you to pick up both ends of the skillet at full heat without any other hot pad.I would not recommend these unless you own a high functioning splatter guard.

These are not at all as pictured. Scratched, thin leather that looks like it’s been run through a blender! Hoped to give as a gift but looks like it’s worth a fraction of the cost. Very disappointing.

I LOVE these. I have wanted something like this for quite a while and finally broke down and made the purchase. How did I live with out these? Well made. Thick. Will buy more.

Got this set because the original long handle didn’t fit the intended cast iron. This fits like a glove and I now have a burn-free hands cook with style. It’s so great we kept the long handle for a different skillet.
