Tilta V-Mount Battery Baseplate TA-BSP-V-G for Camera cage to Extended Battery Life

As you can see from the photos below, this is not standard 15mm. It is slightly smaller and will only fit Tilta rigs. If you are looking for something universal, then buy something else.UPDATE. This is actually a cage for mounting the battery under your camera. You can however, buy a $48 adapter that will screw right on to the back of the plate, removing the cage top. Or you can pick one up for $8 that will do the same thing. Weird that the photo didn't show this in the right configuration. Poor demo pics. I'm deducting one star because the photos don't really give you a good example on how this is suppose to be used.

I like this quite a bit. It adds the battery life you need with some nice weight to bottom of the camera giving you a better center of gravity and less gittery hand held. I feel like it should have some rail mounts on it but that's only my humble opinion.

Works as advertised! I'm using a smallrig cage and it fits great! Their are 2 little screws that you'll need to unscrew first but as really easy to take out. Love what tilta are doing wish it came jet black to match my rig better but other than that this works great with any other cage company like smallrig 👌🏻
