The best ESE pods
We’ve tried many brands and flavors of ESE pods over the years and have found Montedoro Caffe pods to be the best overall when we factor in flavor, value, consistency, and quality of manufacturing. Some other brands have issues with broken pods but we’ve never had a problem with these. They don’t produce quite as much crema as some others and are a little slower to dispense but I can even push a double shot with them and they still taste great.

GOOD COFFEE!
I have been ordering Montedoro Caffe pods now for about 7 years, I used to get pods from my coffee guy when I owned a restaurant. These are 1/2 the price, double the amount and equal if not better in flavor and quality. I love the variety they come in, but I always come back to Prezioso - 100% Pure Arabica its has the traditional coffee bar flavor you would get in an Italian coffee bar.

Delicious, perfectly balanced medium roast espresso
I've held off on reviewing this in fear that it may at some point go out of stock. It's that good. Truly delicious espresso that rivals the cafe experience and makes most other ESE pods an afterthought. On par with or slightly even better than Illy Classico. It's the perfect everyday coffee and one of the only ones where I remark to myself how delicious it is with each sip. I know tastes are subjective but the blend in this is just fantastic and really hard to beat.At the time of this writing, this is in a class of its own in terms of value and there's literally nothing else even comparable. While I still like to sample different pods from time to time, this is one I'll continue coming back to if it's available. The neatly packed box and freshness stamp are a nice step up from having purchased the smaller pack previously.Update: The new pods are not the same as the previous order. Different packaging and taste is not quite as good. No longer excellent but very good. Still a great value and alternative to some of the more expensive pods.

I DO NOT LIKE THESE
I do not like these! I seriously doubt these are 100% arabica beans, or if they are, are lowest quality beans. I have been making espresso since 1982, I know arabica beans and have even picked them (for fun). I regularly drink some of the highest quality 100% arabica coffees in Costa Rica, where even the free coffee in bus stations are wonderful. These Montedorro 100% arabica pods come out with little crema, and hit the tongue with an unpleasant burnt lemon peel taste and finish with a soured oily flavor on the finish like cheap coffee left on the warmer for too long. Lowest quality? Old beans? I don't know why, but I'd never serve these to my friends. As for QC, after about 8 pods, I find that at least half of the filter paper tears as you try to remove them, so I end up scraping grounds over the trash.Don't waste your money like I did.

Delicious, well-balanced espresso
I bought these pods to use in a basic De'Longhi Dedica espresso machine. The flavor is rich, more Italian than Latin. A touch creamy. I compared Montedoro pods to LavAzza and Segafredo in a blind tasting, and preferred the Montedoro. Very good espresso for the price. The box becomes a dispenser for keeping order of the 150 pods. I will reorder.

This is a great company offering great coffee.
My husband makes me 2-3 large cappuccinos and delivers them to my chair every morning. The service and the delicious Montedoro coffee pods has made the pandemic pleasant. My job is to order the pods. When we open the last box, I order some more. The service is dependable and the coffee delicious. Bravo!

Half decent
Don’t try to pull more than a 2oz shot out of a single pod, turns into water. Good flavor and convenient however.
