I have 9 kW total of TPI heaters installed in my gazebo (12'x14'), controlled from my iPhone via solid state relays. The heat is enough for a small outdoor party. Since the back of the heater does not get very hot, I trust that most of the energy is actually directed forward. So far very happy with those.

I installed two of these in my garage. It has tall ceilings for the forced air system kept the ceiling warm, but the floor, and cars were cold. Functionality wise, these units work well. Which is why I gave them 3 stars. I can feel the radiant heat from 20 feet away.Here's the bad. The construction of these heaters is terrible. The screw holes and panels don't line up. Most holes are drilled and require the poorly made self-tapping screws to cut threads. Difficult to do when you're on a ladder and screwing into a dangling piece of stainless steel with misaligned holes. The side guards weren't bent to the correct angles. There were large gaps in the panel covers once installed. The wiring was rated correctly for 3000 watts, but I'm skeptical about the connectors at the light bulb ends. I'll check them in a month to see if they are getting over heating. The chains and S hooks were too weak and cumbersome to use. And all edges of the stainless steel were razor sharp. The brake that bent these piece left mark on the metal. Shoody craftsmanship.These reminded me of a high school metal shop project. Poorly constructed and gaps everywhere. I recommend getting better chains and positive locking carabiner type clips rather than the flimsy S hooks provided that unhook whenever the units get moved. Even when I bent the S hooks closed. I tried wearing gloves after slicing my finger and hand twice, but I didn't feel like I could get a good grip or feel when installing. I was more careful and scraped my self but didn't bleed again.And to add to all this one of the original units looked used and was the wrong color and wrong wattage. For $300 I expected a new, professionally built heating system. The bulbs cost $100 and the housing is worth maybe another $100. Definitely not $300. Look for another manufacturer. You've been warned.

We ordered two of these heaters for our covered outdoor patio. Our contractor got the fixtures hung and installed. Then when it came time to remove the long glass heating elements from their separate shipping tubes a few weeks later, BOTH were broken! It was too late to return via Amazon so I contacted manufacturer who basically told us it wasn't their problem. Now, we have to spend about $400 on two new glass heating elements. I would not recommend this product or manufacturer to anyone!

Way too little heat.

It's unbelievable, how much heat, even, when you have , a cold hard wind.Just stay in a wide range.You're warm.Worth the money, if its cold and sunny, and you like being outdoor's in the winter, as I do, year round.

Best and most efficient heat out of any heater in our shop.

Purchased two of these units. When they arrived I opened the boxes with the electrition to determine if everything was there and what was needed for installation. The heating elements were sealed a cardboard cylinder. It took 6 weeks to order the controls, other materials, trench the power in and get on the electriian’s installation schedule.When installing. I carefully opened the heating element box and protective cylinder and pulled out the bubble-wrapped unit and to my surprise I found the element broken in numerous pieces! BOTH ELEMENT UNITS BROKEN!Also to my surprise, the return period was only 30 days and had just gone by...also, there was no way to contact the Amazon seller Warehouse Deals Inc.Now I will need to replace the two heating elements at a cost of almost $100 each!Very disappointed with this purchase!!!

Works as it should .

Installer dans mon Solarium 3 saisons , fonctionne vraiment bien , mais ne vient avec aucun contrôle. Alors soit faut installer un thermostat on-off de 15 Ampère et plus , vous pouvez mette la température désiré ou vous commander le contrôleur variable VHC-15 qui lui vous permet de mettre un chauffage constant à la chaleur désiré. Mais il y a une différence de 200.00$ entre ces deux thermostat.

SalutC’est le deuxième que j’ai acheté le premier c’est 5 étoiles très bon mais le deuxième c’est 1 étoile nous avons tout installer et quand nous avons déballé le tube infrarouge il était cassé je en deux,je vousdrais avoir un tube je pour que pouvoir le mettre en opération. MerciJ’ai toujours pas reçu de nouvelles pour le tube infrarouge pour remplacer celui qui était casser pourquoi j’aimerais avoir une réponseMerci
