Paasche Talon
I had been using the Paasche VL for a number of years and quite pretty much satisfied with it's performance that's why I purchased a Talon w/c is their newest product like an upgrade. I've used it in tandem w/ the VL a few times on my architectural renderings and so much satisfied with it. The only concern I have is the logo on the airbrush w/c is not centered & seems to be crooked. Aside from that reason, I should give it a five star.

up dating two 2 stars
First of all I decided to get another Paasche airbrush because my first one was an H model . I also have a VL and an SI which is a single action , both have the # 3 set up. I did have an older VL and an older Millenium but I never really learned to use a dual action airbrush. I just got it today and it looks well made, it does have tiny scratches on the chrome and some sport of inconsistent anodize on the handle which doe not make it used or bad. What it does is tell me they did a bit better job years ago as far as plating. It may be from the cheap plastic bubble package it came in. The VL and SI I have now which were both also the airbrush came in a foam padded box with the instruction sheet. I will say any time I had any issues and called or emailed Paasche they were polite and fast to reply and sent me any parts I needed free and I do not take advantage of this , I would rather replace a simple part myself rather than return the airbrush. I didn't see anything wrong with this one. The trigger works smooth in it's travel , I had a few older ones that didn't like the old VL -3 . There is nothing bent or broken and no big dings. Once I test it out in a few days using distilled water to see if anything leaks or if the spray pattern is off I will revise this. I do know and feel confident that if there is an issue the People at Paasche will not let me down. I also own a few Badger a anthem 155 and Thayer Chandler like the Vega 2000 and 600 old style and they are well made and work well . Once I know this new Talon works out I may purchase the needle stop handle just to help me past the dual action curve as the VL does with the adjustment wheel front of the trigger. I only purchase the bare air brushes because I already have their hoses and bottles and wrenches . I have yet to have a paasche airbrush fail and the H model is built like a tank as are the VL and SI. This new one appears as well made , as for the tiny finish flaws , well once I use any brush a while they will happen and don't bother me in the least. Well this one I got is not working and has a few QC issues so I will give another a chance. I like what it is and hope the replacement works out.

As far as painting goes works good. Time will tell
Descent air brush for the price. The trigger has been getting stuck and seems a little loose all the way around and I've only used it three times. As far as painting goes works good. Time will tell.

Nice if you would add the adapter
Looks nice hard to use due to the fact that it doesn’t fit my air hose now I’m waiting for a adapter to complete my job. Hopefully it doesn’t set me back on the due date for the project

Great Airbrush but.....
I do a lot of leather work and the main reason for purchasing this airbrush was the .66 needle size and the wide spread this brush is known for. This is ideal since I use it for dying leather pieces up to 2" wide and up to 58" long. Upon opening the blister pack which by the way is very cheap looking, I pulled out a gorgeous and stylish brush.Once I connected it to my compressor and started testing it, I noticed the trigger was very rough and felt under my finger as if it was riding metal somewhere! I thought to take it apart and see if I could locate the problem. Sure enough, I did. As other reviewers have discovered, The slot hole where the Trigger slips into had bumps within the metal causing the trigger sides to ride the bumps causing the rough travel. I took a jewelers file to both sides of the slot hole and after that, it was smooth as glass.MY MESSAGE TO PAASCHE!Be proactive and fix this manufacturing issue! It is such a shame to ship a beautiful product with such a totally preventable flaw! I am sure people have felt this and just returned it. I was more willing to try and resolve the issue and I did.The brush atomizes paint just perfectly and it really is a fine brush. THE ONLY THING IS THAT DAM TRIGGER GRIND, RUB, STICK... whatever you want to call it.
