Department 56Dickens' Village The Coffee Stall Building and Accessory Figurine (Set of 2) , 2.5 Inch

I have a mid-size town scene with about a dozen buildings and many more individuals and trains. It is a winter scene with lots of snow. In the town center, I now have a coffee vendor and two shoppers enjoying their hot coffee. This really stands out from the other figures and adds more coziness to the scene.

I'm returning this. I like the set. My problem is with the gentleman's hand. The cup and hand are attached to the arm with a fine wire rod. I can see the rod and the hand turns. I think it should have sealed together during firing or at least glued by the factory. I've been collecting the Dicken's Village figurines for over 30 years and neverk new there was wire inside of any figurines. I could glue the hand to the arm, but would prefer to have it finished correctly by the company, so I am returning it. I may reorder it since I do like it.

I just added this coffee stall to my Dept 56 Village display to go with the Thomas Kersey Coffee Shop. It is a well made accessory piece and well worth the price! I added a pic to show how well it goes with the coffee shop.

Great piece(s) to compliment the Dickens Village. What real village doesn't have people? Position these pieces together, or slightly apart (from one another) to compliment the buildings.

Ordered these Department 56 Dickens Pieces for my daughter for Christmas as I have been getting them over a period of years and it has become quite a collection. She has only 1 daughter so hopefully she will be interested in them too. They arrived in great shape and very promptly. I was very satisfied with the service and happy to be able to still get these discontinued items..

There seems to be a gradual degradation in the quality of Department 56 pieces, particularly in the paint detail, and somewhat in the feel or heft. I still love my Dickens Village, though, so will continue to expand it.

My wife loves the Dickens Village and this is just another great addition. Amazon also has the cheapest prices.

This is a very nice piece I was disappointed when received and was broken ,the lid to the coffee cart had come off however I was able to re glue it all is well
