Carhartt Men's Ruggedflex Safety Toe Work Boot

I will be the first to admit that when I typically buy something I need I go with the cheapest possible solution. There are exceptions to this but footwear has never been one of them.I work on a farm so my boots take a beating. Usually I can get about a year out of a $60 pair from walmart. This year however my new pair didn't even make it a year, the interiors wore out and I was getting blisters and places wear it was rubbed raw on my feet. So I gave in, did some research into some more quality boots and gave these a shot. I have bought Carhartt coats and hats before and know what a quality brand they are.I will go beyond saying that these are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn and say that they are the most comfortable footwear I have ever owned. Even when I put gel insoles into the other shoes/boots. I've already put them through some paces testing out the waterproofing and composite toe and they did not disappoint. My feet remained dry and safe. When combined with a pair of the Carhartt Men's Force socks they feel amazing. I worked a 13 hour shift doing a multitude of things and being on my feet all day. Climbing on and off trailers for a good 7 of those hours. And ONLY THEN did my feet really start to bother me at all, my feet would have been dying by the end of that in my old boots. If these last for a few years then I definitely know what my next pair of boots will be.

My husband liked that they protected his ankles and keep his feet warm during the winter season. They are good for construction/ laborers workers, he had them for two years so far. They fit snug while still stylish!

These Carhartt boots are the real deal. These are not cheaply made. The only downfall that I have to say are the strings. They are a little thin and not for this type of boot. They need to be thicker. Other than that these boots can handle it. Great protection for your toes and great support for your ankles. They look great and wear nicely. Like any footwear when you are going to be on your feet for long periods of time, be sure to add a pair of insoles. That will help in the ease of use of your boots and your feet and legs.

My significant other is the hardest person I have ever met on shoes. I bought a pair of these for him over a year ago. Just had to buy him another pair. These work boots are a little pricey but well worth it. They can take a betting from him they are very well made boots. Saved me money in the long run. Would recommend these boots to anyone!! An he actually did not even have to put insoles in the boot he said they were very comfortable!!!!!!

First problem after having them for 3 months was the toe separating at the tread in the front. I glued it back together. The week after that, the other boot separated at the heel and tread. Yes, I take them on and off properly and I oiled them. Leather was fine it was the rubber adhesive that failed them. I've bought these boots 3 times now, the first pair I bought lasted almost 2 years and were the best pair of boots I ever had. These last 2 pairs didn't last long at all. They still looked brand new where the pants leg covered them.

I use the boots for work, on my feet all day, there comfortable, light weight due to comp toe not steel

As a beekeeper I need to place straps around my pants over the boot. These high top boots are perfect for my needs. The fit and comfort is amazing. I had the med-hight boots from the same company and they last for many years. I am sure these will too.
