First, I love the look and feel of this mug. It hold so much coffee comfortably. The thickness of the mug is just right to drink from and the glaze is so smooth. It hold the heat of my drink in with the narrowed lip. I have tried to buy big mugs in the past and am always disappointed with the quality, you know the mugs that get hot in the microwave, but leave the contents cold? This mug is not one of those cheap-ies. It is a high quality mug and I am so thrilled to get it for the price I paid. In fact, I will be ordering several more for myself as well as buying them as gifts for friends and family.

The design looks unique and handmade! I love it! It’s oversized for a nice big cup of coffee/hot chocolate. I love that it’s dishwasher safe too! It’s my new favorite mug.

Perfect size and shape for my coffee habit but ... the colorful design does not extend through the handle. You can not tell this from the picture. A review which I did not read before purchase points this out. If I had realized this I would have not bought this cup. I don't know why it annoys me but it does.

I like a large mug and this is perfect for my morning coffee. The finish is flawless and nice to the touch. I have the rose-colored mug and plan to order a second one. Decent price for the size and quality in my opinion.

This mug is well made with a large capacity. I use for my tea, after I've had my coffee for the day and, while not heavy and unwieldy, it is anything but flimsy and keeps my tea hot for as long as I need!

I did not get what is shown in the picture. Very disappointed. Can’t return it because I had to use it for a gift and did not have time to get another one. Does not look hand made or like pottery at all. Looks more feminine than I wanted since it was for a young man. More like an everyday, run of the mill coffee mug.

I was searching for hand made gifts and this one was listed. After receiving the mug it was clear it was mass produced, from the made in China on the bottom, and only hand painted.The colors are much softer in person than the photos which was a disappointment too. The photo makes it look rich in color dimension and it looks pastel in person. Additionally, the center green stripe is not painted all the way around. It does not go under the handle, but does appear on the handle, which looks unfinished and/or painted hastily.The handle could also be wider to support the shape of the mug a bit better, it feels unbalanced to me. I end up holding it around the mug vs the handle; because it hold a large amount it’s not too hot to hold in this way because a 10 oz beverage only fills it halfway.It works and holds a large volume but I’m glad I only purchased one and not a set because the colors are so disappointing in person.
