SpeTool Carbide Chamfer End Mill V Groove Router Bit 60 Degree, 4 Flutes 1/4 inch Shank for CNC Carving and Chamfering

My main CNC bit and it works splendidly. I run it at 240 IPM and it performs well

This bit Is very sharp and cuts well.

This cutter works as an engraving cutter very well, it cuts better than I thought it would.

I have been using this bit to break the edge on surfaces and vcarve letters and designs. So far it has performed very well! I am liking the crisp lines it gives with no issues so far!

Just starting out with CNC routing and needed bits on hand.

This bit is so bad I contemplated returning it. For $15 bucks I don't waste my time on returning, just will never by anything SpeTool again. It was so bad I thought my CNC machine needed adjustment. Changed the bit to a Whiteside and problems are over. I don't even think this SpeTool is carbide lol. JUNK made in China.

I purchased two of these end mills and both tools failed at the cutting tip within moments of engaging the material. I attempted to engrave 303 Stainless at very conservative feeds and speeds at a cutting depth of .010 and again at .005" after the first tool failed. In both instances I was using coolant. I suspect the carbide is of a lower grade.This tool might work well as a chamfer tool in materials like cold rolled, but as far as harder materials go, it does not have the durability to do simple engravings.

I have been using this bit with my CNC router and it works very well. I have carved 6 or 8 large pieces with it so far with no issues

Not used this for long but first impressions are good. As with all bits make sure sure you keep them clean and you will get a good finish and a bit that will last a while. It is a sharp bit but time will tell if it keeps it's edges.

This is my go to bit when carving lettering into wood. This paired with my palm router 👌🏻
