Brave Intuitive Painting: An Art Journal For Living Creatively

I bought this book for my wife, because she liked the other book titled "BRAVE INTUITIVE PAINTING let go, be bold, unfold - techniques for uncovering your own unique painting style". My wife likes her paintings and style of painting. She believes that she will be able to develop this care free way of developing a fantasy painting so that she can make backgrounds for fairy paintings that she would like to do. If words and pictures can simulate though, she should be able to come up with several new ideas to come up with some new exciting creations with a fantasy look.

The workbook version of Flora Bowley's book boiled down to questions and room to write the answers to those questions. Inspiring! Encouraging! Makes a nice gift when you give both books together.

I have thouroughly enjoyed this book. It is very inspiring, the techniques simple. It has led me to explore painting intuitively and let the images emerge organically on my canvases! I am having so much fun doing the excercises, i just let it come naturally. I have read many art technique books which are very "technical-how tos" but Flora's book is not like this she explains and give you tips/tools to explore, let go of expectations and have fun with letting go! I love it!

I just love this book! It's not only well made of quality paper, but the colors and inspiration inside are pricelesz! So enjoyable and exciting to see Flora work and show anyone how to be an inspired artist, just like she is, but in their own way, with their own special creativity! Buy it! You won't regret it.

Not my style, artistically, but I like what it has to say.Definitely not my daughter's style, artistically, but I liked the message/content enough to send her a copy for her birthday.

the product was disappointing only because the paper inside the journal is but for writing with a pen, not for painting. when I read about the journal on amazon it did not say the grade of paper in the book, but because it was a painting journal, I thought it would have a heavier grade of paper. I was wrong. it is just sketch paper. which is fine. I will keep it but......

I just got it yesterday and I'm really enjoying it! I bought it as my idea journal, but it's already becoming more than that! I think I'll get another one very soon. The paper, the colors, the blank spaces and the lines are awesome! There's also a lot of inspiration to keep you going!

Second time going through this journal. The pictures and the inspiring words seem to beg a response from my pen. What fun getting the creative juices flowing. A great gift for anyone wanting to get in touch with their creative side.

it is one of the best books I have. I love just looking through it. It gives you good tips on thow to mix colours I just love her paintings.

La culpa de no valorar com más estrelas es mía porque me equivoque na elección del libro! Yo quería el "Brave Intuitive Painting" y no el "Journal for Living". Estaba en letra tan pequeña que no ví que el libro era outro! Como "Journal", trae espácios para dibujar o pintar pero está impresso en un papel poco adecuado para esse efecto. Debería ser impresso en papel de Diário Gráfico. Yo quería el 1ºlibro de la misma autora que es buenísimo y yo ya lo había visto.
