Good build quality. Good picture quality. Compact design.
Overall, I am happy with the camera, its ease of use & the quality of the video it records. While the cost is higher than other dashcams I am happy with my purchase & would recommend this model to others.I use this with the provided mount that attaches to the screen with an adhesive pad. The camera is easy to attach to the mount due to the magnetic coupling. I also have the fixed power cabling to allow use of the parking mode capability of the camera. I have another Garmin dashcam which was why I tried this model. The camera is easy to set up if you follow the instructions. I do not find the voice command capability much use but others might. Firmware updates are provided from time to time which are easy to apply to the dashcam using the MS Windows based utility provided by Garmin.I find it easier to download the recordings directly from the SD card rather than from the camera plugged into a PC via the provided USB cable. I think the camera gets too hot when downloading the videos via the camera hence my decision to use an SD card to USB adapter. The dashcam can record high quality video files but it also automaticallyproduces a lower quality video file. The latter is supposed to be faster to transfer to a mobile phone, perhaps for a preview of the higher quality recording, but the quality is not that good when viewed on a PC. Given the restrained colour scheme of the dashcam is similar to the colour of the back of the mirror in my car it is not obvious that the dashcam is present when on its mount which I consider to be a positive point.

After a lot of research .... I chose these
Before purchasing, I did a lot of online research and talked to several other people with different dash cams. The primary frustration they had was not with the camera but with the associated app. These cameras are so easy to use as is the app. it just works, the first time, without fuss and as you would expect. I love the fact it is so small and compact and such a simple design. I am very happy with the easer of use, the quality of stills, video and timelapse - and the connectivity with the app. I would recommend these. I have one for the windscreen and one for the back window. They work in perfect tandem.

A good product supported by a decent app
Quite surprising how much functionality is built into this small dashcam. The fact that it has a GPS system that allows it to find out the speed limit on the road being travelled and beeping to warn the driver is clever. However it doesn't seem to have a completely up-to-date database which rather undermines the feature since it sometimes fails to notify the driver appropriately. The other issue I have is that the notifications are not really very distinct requiring the driver to look at the small display to find out what the notification is for (and the notifications are rather frequent when using default settings). In terms of standard functionality, it is an effective dashcam, recording date, time and location (when selected) on the images. It is definitely wide angle and provides a clear picture in excellent resolution. The associated drive app is decent and allows several dashcams to be coordinated.I like the capacity of card supported and the way the cam recycles files not explicitly locked to allow continuous recording. It comes with two cables suitable for use depending on how you want to install it. The long cable is excellent for channelling around the window and dashboard. The mount sticks really well and the magnets that hold the dashcam and mount together are very strong but allow the cam to be removed easily if desired.

Great small dash cam
This is a decent dash cam, nice and small and easy enough to install, don't forget to buy a memory card though! It uses a magnetic system to attach to your windscreen with is very secure. It comes with several leads, one very long one which i used to power by USB ( i was using it in multiple cars so didnt hard wire it).The picture quality is good and there is a simplistic app for your phone.I decided fairly early on to turn off the lane depature sound as it felt over sensitive to me and was going off with any slight deviation. It has a few different alerts and you can switch them on or off in the settings. There are many options out there for cams and if you do some research the Garmin cams rate highly and i think for good reason.

Great features and very small.
I bought one as a present for my girlfriend at Christmas and I thought it was that good I purchased one in January. Not the cheapest option but it’s tiny, inconspicuous and has great features. The speed camera function is useful daily and the picture is good when you view on a pc.The app on your phone is simple and intuitive and it’s easy to link up more than one.

Great dash cam with really wide FOV
Wanted a wider field of view and this Garmin came recommended on YouTube. Did some research and it seemed to be what I was after.Installation was quick and simple, the sticky magnet attaches securely to the window. And the camera sits happily behind the mirror so it doesn’t obscure your view.Running the cable around was pretty easy, made better by the thin usb cable provided.Setup was simple enough, as was setting up the app to communicate with the camera.I did mess with voice commands, and they work well. Will be great for saving videos quickly without having to touch the camera.Video quality seems good too, so this is really a great all round camera with the added 40degrees FOV, to make it 180 degrees.
