good
Its different from the 11th edition but since the tables and chapters are so alike i think it was worth to buy this edition compared to the 11th because the price is much more expensive!

Great source for examples
This book provided me with many examples that allowed me to pass my course. The information in this book is worth keeping for a lifetime.

Book with fine cases
This publication deserves high ranking as a good example of organized textbook with fine combination of theory and practice. In the book is comprehensively presented distinction between financial and economic analysis.

Not bad, with a bit of insight.
This book is very specific in what it aims to teach, and assumes that you know how to do basic word problems (which, you should). The information in this book is very concise, and filled with helpful examples rather than detailed explanations. It may not be super descriptive in terms of reasoning, but this subject is best taught by example anyways. The main thing you need to know in order to make this book work for you is how to dissect a word problem. And for engineers who think they don't need economics...I feel sorry for whoever hires you on accident.EDIT, after taking course: The later chapters are a little more vague, since they assume that you remember everything you learned before. The problems get much more complex than at the beginning, and the book does little to help you decipher the text. In the end, it is left for you to interpret the text. Also, it is a good idea to start dabbling with Excel, since the later chapters rely heavily on its usage.

Fantastic
Better late than never. I heard of this book late for my exams. Had I gotten it before now I would have written my result even before the exam. The book is fantastic.

A waste of money and paper!
I used this book in an online class. In a nutshell this book does a poor job of explaining the problems in the back of the chapters which makes solving them a dull laborious and miserable experience! I'd give the authors of Mad Magazine more respect than I'd give to the clowns that wrote this confusing conglomeration! As an engineering student myself I can't understand why engineers need to learn about economics? Shouldn't that be the job of...well...Economists!?? Sorry, but it makes no sense to me other than just another money making class colleges make you take just so they can line their wallets! Period!

Old edition 2012 in 2019, not acceptable
I got a book that is old with almost yellowed pages, the book is of 2012 edition... this being 2019, i had expected a little more newer edition... maybe a year old...not so old
