This is an incredible book! The pictures of the beautiful leatherwork are stunning. It captures the amazing talent and craftsmanship you don't see anymore. Makes me want to take up an apprenticeship in working with leather.

This is a book that has been needed by scholars and collectors alike for many years. A real" Catalogue raisonné" of the many arts and crafts Men and Women who designed some of the most beautiful items of the Arts and Crafts Era. This will now be the guidebook for the collectors as well as the Bungalow owners who choose to decorate properly with their fine furniture and pottery and copper work.100's of wonderful full color photographs , most never seen before in print. Also the regional focus is very helpful to the Collectors and Museum Curators alike.

This is a great book on the leather-work of the Arts & Crafts period. Not only is the book informative but the photographs are exquisite. Prior to this book there were only brief mentions in other books about the leather craft from the Arts & Crafts period. This is a must for collectors and those curious about another piece of Arts & Crafts history and craftsmanship. Many volumes exist on the furniture and pottery of this period it is a welcome addition to those guides and a great reference on its own.

An excellent source of American leather craft history. Its filled with color pictures of leather pieces from all over the country in the early 1900s. There are over forty pages on Roycroft,,Cordova and Kaser leather of the Buffalo NY. area. Thanks to the many men and women made contributions to this book.
