Great quality and exactly what I needed
These are small, compact and work by a metal plate rising and lowering like an elevator versus the type where a metal tab bends down. Fits standard PCB spacing (protoboards, breadboards, etc.) I really like them because of the space saving size, quality construction and work great for smaller wires, which is why I got these. Only thing I would caution is future expecting the 'larger' size, these are not them, so just pay attention if that's what you're needing instead, otherwise buy these in a heartbeat!

Handy size
Would prefer a single pole . Using on a 3 way splitter and circuit board solder holes are singles , not paired for the speaker wire. I'll cut in half or cut one pin off.

Review it for what it is
I've just received a batch of these, and I'm very happy with them. Looking back at the negative reviews, people are complaining that these were not what they thought they were, and not that there's anything wrong with them. You can't complain that they're very small, when the whole purpose is that they are small. These have the same pin spacing as a through-hold IC (10 pins to an inch).Next negative review is that the pins are very short and they don't stay plugged in! The purpose of these connectors is to _solder_ them into a PCB, not to plug them in to anything. If you're looking for bigger connectors that are twice the spacing of a through-hole IC, look for 0.2 inch spacing - this item is not what you need. Needless to say, these are not intended for line voltage (110/220) - the pins and wires are too close together.

Fairly Good
As noted elsewhere, these are the small, 0.1 (2.54mm) spacing which saves a lot of board space. I did end up needing a jewelers screwdriver to attach wires, something not every tech will have with them. They did work fairly well but it can be tricky getting the wires in if you can't directly see the opening. Note that the clamping action pulls the wire upward, unlike the larger connectors that clamp down on the wire. This may cause some confusion when first looking at one as they appear to be opened when in fact they are clamped.

exceded expectations
Keeping in mind these are very small terminal with tiny screws and very limited wire capacity, if one already has holes on .1" (2.54mm) centers and wants screw terminals these are relatively great. I was worried that they would be those cheap terminals where the screw bears directly on (and breaks) the wire, but these are actualy proper box terminals. However, if one is designing a new board and has room for larger terminals I would recommend something larger

Works, but very poorly manufactured - Not recommended for critical application
Only needed a couple of those, and this was the smallest package. You will need a SERIOUSLY TINY screw driver. The quality is not really good, but if this is a set-it-and-forget-it on a non-industrial environment, it should be good enough.

Does the job
Very lightweight construction. But works great for my use of prototyping and just general tinkering on .1" spacing perfboard.
