Shinko Super Classic 270 Front/Rear Tire (5.00-16)

Bought as an alternative to the Avon Speedmaster. Looks great and handles well. Has held up to the elements as a back tire for more than a year now!

For the price it’s hard to beat. I would never run one on a bike that constantly goes fast but it works for a vintage chopper. If I was gonna do it again I’d get a tire without straight tread cause when you hit certain parts of the highway it just wants to walk all over the place. It lessens if you run it at like 20-22psi but still have to get a feel for it.

I love this tire, stuck it on my sporty chopper and it gave it that look it needed. If you are used to riding on normal tires, be ready for the first few times you lean down in a curve because it rolls like a bias-ply, so you just keep going over. Eventually you get used to it. I ride my bike every day and put serious mileage on tires. So far after about 400 i love this tire.

What a deal! This tire looks just like a Goodyear or a Coker but at a better price. They are going on an Indian and will not see much use so saving money was a nice bonus.Quite satisfied.
