Tuning required for mildly built engines
Tried running it turn key, but it wasnt enough to feed my 355 and ran really lean with my wideband. Did the tuning regiment and got everything worked out. Performs flawlessly. Shipping was quick but I did notice the accelerator pump arm not perfectly aligned, see attached photo. I swapped it out with a plastic one from my other 4150.

Exellent Carburetor Out of the Box.
Excellent looking carburetor and it really does run right out of the box. Now every carb will need some fine tuning to match each engine which are like snow flakes, engines have different components added for performance ect so no two are alike. I bolted it down, filled the bowls with fuel and fired it right up. Once it's warmed up there are a few very simple adjustments to fine tune it and you are good to go lay some rubber.The carb itself adds a very nice look to your engine with the all aluminum body which has a natural shiny appearance to it. It's almost a shame to have it covered up by an air cleaner...lol. It is very adjustable without having to replace springs ect. Quick fuel tech line is very knowledgeable and I have not long holds on the phone to speak to them when I was calling to inquire about which carb would be best for my modified SBC 350.

Great carburetor. Came on time and packaged extremely well
Great carburetor. Came on time and packaged extremely well. Popped the old Holley off and mounted the new QFT SL-600, cranked the engine over a few time and it fired off and ran fine. Without any adjustment I took the car out and it pulled hard threw all the gears. The new QFT, Slayer carb made my SBC 383, come alive and run and idle better then it ever has.

Great bargain
If you know Holly's this is a dream, Years ago I used to modify Holly's to do what this does out of the box.And the strangest thing, you can tune this without a LapTop. :) Great Carb at a good price. You can pay more, but if you can tune, you won't get more. Also the one I have and the one's I've seen are very well made.

Awesome Carb, great value!!
Great Carburetor right out of the box. I bolted it on and it started right up. On a mild Chevy 350 9:1 it's been running great. I adjusted the idle mixture quickly. This engine has never run so well. Nicely finished and lightweight compared the old holley i took off.Very happy!!!!!!!
