Japanese Phrases For Dummies 1st Edition

This one...was my personal favorite! I would say it was a "Big thing in a small package". it gives handy phrases and words that could be used in daily conversations and basic rules to japanese grammar and such.

Very helpful. As a tourist going to Japan for the first time, this gave me some of the pure basics that I would need to get around. Easy to understand how to pronounce the words, and easy to understand some of the variations in meanings of words.

Wonderful introduction to the Japanese language. I bought it a month before I traveled and studied it quite a lot, but should have started earlier.

It’s good but doesn’t really go in depth on how to go about making sentences, etc. it just tells us but doesn’t really explain much. Honestly I wouldn’t buy it, if I could I’d return it actually
