Chantecaille Mermaid Matte Olivia Eye Shadow

It seems that cosmetic companies only make either black or brown, or variations of both, eyebrow pencils and eyebrow powders. Well, when you have silver-gray hair, none of those shades of black and/or brown work. They all look "off" and appear fake.Found this eye shadow a couple of years ago and it is simply perfect for the brows. It is a very unusual color and pairs beautifully with the gray khaki brow pencil I use from Covergirl. The shadow used as brow powder lasts because it is water resistant. Even on the hottest of days, it doesn't sweat away or run. A little goes a long way, so it is also a good value. I love it and hope the company continues to support this wonderful and versatile product!

I’ve used this eyeshadow for years. It’s my everyday go to, whether it be for a one and done look, or as a base on eyelid. It’s a beautiful shade. It’s buildable to a degree (just enough to give a little definition if used as a one and done), and blends so smoothly. The pot lasts forever too. I only ordered another to have a backup. I don’t do the backup thing, but for this I made an exception. It’s that perfect.

I thought it would be a darker brown but the color it is it will works great with the colors I do use.
