This here newfangled dens caeruleum device works xtremely well. I was actually xtremely surprised by how well it works. With this I am able to connect my cellular device to an antique rotary phone, which is very convenient for me because I live in haunted house and this is the only way the dang ghost can communicate with me, and who has a landline anymore? When I pick up the receiver on said rotary phone, I hear the dial tone. Classic. It allows me to dial out using the rotary, and the old bell sounds when someone calls (although no one ever calls except for the aforementioned specter or the folks trying to reach me about my vehicle's extended warranty). Anyway I'm sure this product would be great for many purposes, but for me it's mostly just an elegant means to activate nostalgia of the telecommunications technology variety. My grandmother worked for Bell Telephone, by the way. It really is kind of cool that we can so easily use our silly old phones again. 10/11 would recommend.

My elderly mom finds her flip phone difficult to hear and smart phones are just difficult period. This was the perfect solution for her. Links her flip phone to her favorite desktop cordless phone. We leave her cell phone in a spot with a good signal. She can use her cordless phone anywhere in the house without issue. She hasn't tried taking the phone outside so I can not comment on how far apart the units can be from one another before the connection is lost. She has taken her cell phone when running errands and the unit reconnects with her cell automatically and without issue when the two are once again in range. Couldn't ask for a better solution for our situation!

I have an elderly mother with dementia and early Alz's that struggled using a cell phone. I used this device to blue tooth connect a standard BIG button phone with programmable speed dial buttons for family members and it works wonderfully. It allows her to use the big button phones in her home via her existing cell phone. When she leaves home, she then uses her cell phone. By far, this device has been one of the best enabler for her to maintain her independence and security at home via use of Senior designed landline phones that she can operate without having to have both a land line and cell phone. Great device!

A little expensive - but for ease of use and quality, totally worth it. Made an antique rotary phone work flawlessly with my iPhone 12. Took less than 5 mins to set up.

Worked exactly as promised. Perfect. Your elderly relative can keep using a classic 'telephone' while only paying a one time used cell phone cost and a reasonable pay as you go Verizon account. And the cell phone can be used as a Hot Spot by young tech savvy visiting relatives.

I rarely ever write a review for a product but I thought that this Xlink BT2 deserved it's praise. We transfered our phone number from our cable providers land line to a cell phone and needed a way to use it with our home telephone system. I guess the best way to write this review is to say that we can't tell any difference at all between the two. It just works. I never did like the cell phones answering system and now we can use our answering machine like we did before. Installation was very easy for us. I just had to unplug the telephone phone from the cable companies modem and plug it into the BT2. I give the unit 5 stars across the board for the sound quality, ease of use, and installation.

As my title says, I don't normally leave reviews. I've finally had it with yet another Spectrum price increase after increase. It was now cheaper for me to purchase this bridge and move my number to a cheap cell phone plan and pair it with this bridge. It was a snap to connect to my computer to upgrade the firmware, pair with an old cell phone, and plug the telephone cable that use to plug into Spectrum VOIP modem The only issue I had was I needed to turn Bluetooth off my main cell because it prevented me from pairing to the old phone. Once I get my number moved to a free internet voip provider, I'll donate to my daughter's theatre teacher to use with old phones to ring during productions. Thanks for a quality product that just works.
