The Three Little Bass and the Big Bad Gar (The Three Little Book Series by the Miller Brothers)

I purchased this for my four-year-old son who loves fishing, but I'd recommend that parents buy it for their children regardless of if they're interested in the sport. It was written by an eight-year-old and he and his mother saw it through to publishing. I think that just shows so much drive by this young man and his family and really reinforces the core message of the book: hard work pays off.If you buy this book you not only will have a very nicely illustrated, revised take on the classic "3 little pigs" fable, with all the lessons that brings, but also an opportunity to discuss this young author with your children and explain to them that if they have a dream, they need to apply themselves and make it happen.I'm glad that this family published this book so I could help my own family learn this lesson.

Modern day twist on a classic tale. Perfect for the young angler in your family. My daughters, 8 and 10, loved it and thought the ending was super cute!

We ordered this for a friend's 1st birthday and will be ordering a second for our book collection as well. My girls begged to read this book when it arrived and loved the spin on the classic three little pigs tale, especially with the fish theme since we are a fishing family. Such an imaginative take on the classic tale. My girls also loved that the story was written by an 8 year old child and are even more inspired to write their own books. I highly recommend this book to any fishing families out there.
