Irish SetterAshby, Men's, 6", Soft Toe, Work Boot

I bought these as a summertime option over the Redwing 411‘s that I use in the winter these are more comfortable as far as being breathable, and the only real negative is that the padding around the ankle is too hard so when you lace them up all the way it presses into your leg and it’s uncomfortable at least for me and I happen to have small ankles. Also, the leather doesn’t seem as soft as the red wings but they were much cheaper.checking back in: the boots and padding softened up they’re super comfortable now…changing review to 5 stars👍

They seem to run tight in the toe area so I'd suggest getting wide but other than that, it's really good boot. I wish I new how comfortable Irish setters were years ago.

they fit okay.... not bad for $90

I have ordered a wide size and they feel really comfortable, materials are great and look awesome too. It was a good purchase

I wear 11.5 regular fit. These boots are unbelievably comfortable on my feet. I work on concrete floors and I'm on my feet walking, lifting etc all day. Very, very pleased with these boots. There is one thing that is not so comfortable, however. The padding on top back of the boot rubs the skin through my socks. I have slight red brush burns. Maybe it's a fit issue. I have to lace up to the top, otherwise my feet lift out. But length wise, my foot is about a half inch from the tip of the toe. It may be a case of needing to break in the boot for several weeks. All said, I love these boots.UPDATE:Regretfully, I have to return the boots. The issue with the back rubbing and pushing into the back of my leg makes them unbearable to wear.

I have the OG Red Wing mocs,these are just as good, dare I say, better? They're comfortable!I these are the best purchase I've had in a while from amazonlately they've been severely lacking in the quality control, but these were just as the description says.They were a size 12, so i knew they were going to be slightly bigger than what im used to getting from Red Wingbut even so, they're just perfect, conforms to my feet just great!These are my my new daily driver boots. Forget about the basic Timbs, those are not even close to the quality these shoes are at. You do pay more, but it is worth every pennyThe only timbs I've ever liked were the Britton Hill Moc Toes, those are the only Timbs i can recommend. if you have the budget though, go for these, or have even more budget, get the OG Red Wingsc:

Outstanding quality finish and amazing fit! True to size. I doubt they will take more than a few days to break in. They're so nice I don't even want to wear them to work...lol. oh well, gotta get them dirty sometime....
