I bought this journal for my partner who is an avid fountain pen collector who was embarking on a long distance walk this summer and wanted to record his progress in a journal. The Journal was beautifully presented and looks good however when writing in it with a fountain pen there was bleed through. Though it didn't blot right through is was sufficient for my partner to decide against using any of his fountain pens, which is a shame.

This is absolutely beautiful and made a great gift for my friend as a travel journal - the craftsmanship is excellent - there are cheaper versions, but if you want quality then this is the one
