Awesome Pen!
Absolutely LOVE this pen! I love the Frosted Coconut color, because I can see how much ink I have left. I also use it as an eyedropper pen. But be warned it does leak from around the collar (the nib holder; between the frosted coconut plastic and the nib holder). I tried using more silicone, but it only helps for so long. I think I need to make a small seal or something to use it as an eyedropper more. However using a converter works too with no leakages. It's also easy to tear apart and clean (use a Bic pen to remove the nib holder by pushing it out). Nib and feed pull right out, no twisting. Every time refill it, I field strip it and then put the fresh ink in. The writing experience is perfect as I got the double broad (BB) nib. It writes like a medium/broad. Perfect for regular copier paper. Great pen! I love it!!

Compact and Light Fountain Pen
I bought this pen specifically because I have a small collection of the Kaweco Sport in fun colors but I still didn't have one with a medium nib yet, and I wanted to see if there was much difference between the medium and fine. I really like it, it's quickly become one of my go-to choices. Like all Kaweco Sports, it's got the same tiny form factor, which is ideal for me, and the medium nib is definitely a difference from the fine nib for bolder everyday lettering. This colorway is super cute, too.

Sweet, adorable little pen
I bought this pen as because it is such a fun color! The frosted orange is so lovely--really more like a peachy pink. The pen surprised me because it is so small, but once I figured out you put the cap on the back when you write with it, I found it comfortable to write with. So far the ink flows smoothly for me and the feel of it is nice if slightly more scratchy than I hoped. I might try the M width in a different color later--I chose the F because I don't like globby ink, but the F actually feels a bit thinner than I hoped for. Anyway, it's very nice overall.

Love the color!
It's very light-weight and is always in my pen case. Bought it mostly for its lime green candy color. Writes okay, I prefer the Lamy that I have.

Pastel anyday!
Mine came in a soft pink color. This pastel piece is excellent choice for a pocket-friendly companion. It is solid performer with no skipping. I get many compliments about the compact beauty…

Kaweco Frosted Sport Fountain Pen - fits my hand and my pocketbook
Kaweco Sport Fountain Pens are great little writers. The fine nib is good right out of the box - no tuning required. The pen is small when the cap is on, but when posted, it is a good size and a comfortable writer. Luxury Bazaar packed the pen well, and shipping was excellent. The Frosted Soft Mandarine is an elegant daily writer.

This pen is whole mess and a half...
I wanted this to be a good review, but I cannot in good conscience do above 3 stars…A lot of other reviews mention the plastic case of this pen being why they don’t like it, but for me that’s really the most positive feature. It's SO lightweight that it's irresistible to write with, especially for long form like letters.... So lightweight...I’ve found this nib with the included Kaweco ink will randomly dry up mid-sentence, and tends to be a little scratchy most of the time. At first I chalked it up to having purchased the Extra Fine nib, and that’s a common issue with most EF pens of this level, but this one is the worst I own of several EF nibs. I’d expect that from a cheaper pen or lesser known company, but for $29 and change, I’m disappointed in that. Not to mention this comes with brand ink, and if your pen is scratchy with your own ink, it’s not off to a great start. I've tried the company website, I've tried some simple trouble shooting, to no avail. The nib randomly leaks too, which is incredibly annoying. I have a disposable Pilot Petit 1 that functions better and it is literally a $4 pen. I mean c'mon, Kaweco. Some cheaper pens also come with a refillable converter, whereas this comes with a disposable one. Being that this is a TRAVEL pen, I can understand the choice to use disposable and I like that they included one cartridge, but the cost of the pen sans converter is what makes it hard to justify. As an avid fountain pen user, I'm prone to using converters with various inks. If I were solely using this for travel, I'd be fine with the disposable - IF IT WORKED. I don't mind paying extra for the converter, because I'll use it, but because it's extra this bumps to a $40 pen and the nib/writing experience is truly sub-par... So I suppose that's the real issue for me... Is it worth the cost? mmmmm'no.If you’re just starting out with fountain pens I’d suggest skipping this pen in particular. If it were me I'd go with a pen that's got a converter included in your costs so you can learn about different inks and how they effect your nib and writing experience. It feels nice in the hand, but for a learning experience this is a "hard pass" moment. Being the avid fountain pen user that I am, I just really like the weight of this unit. The plastic is sturdy and definitely usable for travel. I use a Traveler’s Notebook as a day planner, and I think this pen will hold up to regular use just fine. I am hoping to find a way to get the nib to perform better because the weight of this pen does make writing at length a breeze, unlike other pens that are quite heavy for the longer duration of use. I could easily use this pen to draft a chapter of a book without it feeling heavy or bulky, and that's a massive benefit. That alone could easily make this my favorite pen if I could get the nib to perform like it should....All in all, this had potential to be my favorite pen of the bunch. It feels like a cross between a disposable pen and a traditional fountain pen, which really does give it a great TRAVEL feel. I would feel comfortable taking this on the go, its weight is really the benefit for that too, it doesn't add bulk to my travel bag. The problem however is if I lost this now $50 pen (because it's another $10 for the travel clip too!) I’d be really perturbed about it. If this was like a $20 buy, AND IT WORKED BETTER, I’d probably order one in every color and be content. So really, this review comes down to the cost and possibly a defective nib. I purchased to be a “fun pen” aesthetically, for use with Diamine Celadon Cat ink. I thought the Coconut see-through exterior would be a fun yet still adult looking for a daily use pen. It is classy and beautiful. If you’re not into the plastic aesthetic, skip it. You can see the ink cartridge inside and it accomplished precisely what I wanted in that sector. It's a soft cream color, it looks great with teal and brown ink...Problem is...it ONLY works well with my Pilot black ink....the Diamine is too light for an EF nib.... But that's on me, I guess. Don't go EF with a light colored ink if you want consistency...It’s designed as a TRAVEL pen, aside from the nib not functioning well, it serves as a FANTASTIC travel companion. The design is well thought out. The cap stays on when in use, which is an unexpectedly nice feature. It's easily one of my favorite designs in a pen, you can see the intelligence behind it. Definitely made by a company that knows what they're doing.TLDR:Great travel pen, love the design; price is steep, EF nib is lacking.Pros: Lightweight, Sturdy for plastic, Nice to look at, Secure cap,Cons: Pricey, EF Nib is scratchy/dry, Accessories extra $$, Works best with PILOT ink not Kaweco ink- Would NOT recommend for beginners (too much $$, not enough accessories included, need easier nib)- Would recommend for travelers with expendable budget ($50 pen w/ accessories, don't lose it)

Mit Kaweko Füllern macht man alles richtig
Ich habe sehr viele von ihnen mit unterschiedlichen federstärken. Sie sind hochwertig, man schreibt damit schön und sie sind vor allem leicht und handlich. Immer wieder gerne!
