Angostura (NOT A CASE) Orange Bitters

Bought this not knowing how much this product should run... so maybe more on me than the product.... its half the price in your local liquor store. Other than that this is a requirement to my old fashioned cocktails.

It's true that the aroma of these bitters is a blend of pure orange bitters and normal Angostura bitters; however, I think the two go very well together. For me, the orange aroma of the Angostura product is as intense and actually richer than the orange from companies like Fee Brothers and Regan. I have also noticed that the aroma of Fee Brothers orange tends to fade over months, while Angostura's lasts indefinitely in the bottle. This is not to say the others are bad, but the Angostura product is best overall. In fact I now use Angostura orange over the traditional regular Angostura in Manhattans.EDIT - after posting this review I looked at the Angostura website, where they explicitly say their regular and orange bitters don't have flavorings in common. Even so, Angostura orange does definitely have a very nice additional spice aroma that goes beyond simple orange, which I mistakenly assumed was from their regular bitters. Whatever it is, it's good.

I have bee buying this bitters for years, definitely I will buy them always
