ChiaoGoo Cable 30 inch (75cm) with Key for Spin Interchangeable Small Knitting Needle Set 2530-S

Came quickly, just in time to use. Smooth connection when sliding yard. Good addition to set I have.

First of all, I'm so glad this was an option that I could use for my T-Spin Tunisian Crochet Hook set. It's so much easier on the hands to have the hook freely spinning from the hook. I got three different sizes so I'd have some variation.Now, to the reason I only gave 4/5 stars. While the actual join to the hook is secure, the cord itself is thin acrylic and with a couple of months of use, the cord I was using for a blanket started to bend right where the cord starts by the join. I couldn't fix this and it got to the point where I was just waiting for it to snap. It hasn't yet, but thats because I got my hands on the new 360 Swivel cords which are like the Twist cords but they swivel securely like the Spins, and I swapped it in. I will continue to use these cords, as they're still great! Just be aware that the bend at the join can become a real problem with lots of use.

I bought a case of ChaioGood lace needle set, but the cables that came with the set seemed to stiff for my purposes. these nylon cables made for the Spin set fit the Twist lace set too and are much more flexible and easier for me to use when knitting with magic loop method. Glad I gave them a try!

I gave this 3 stars because though I was able to get the cable screwed on to my needles, they only went on one way. In other words, I tried screwing on the first needle and it wouldn't go on so I tried the other needle and with a little coaxing it screwed on. Fortunately when I tried the first needle on the other end, it went on with little effort.I've had trouble before with ChiaoGoo needles/cables. Still, I like the smooth finish of the needles so I'm glad I got them.

I wish they made this in a color. It's hard to see your stitches on it. I do like the spin.

Second try on this item. First cable sent had defective connector on one side. Prompt replacement by Amazon, second cable is perfect.

If only ChiaoGoo made these with the red cables. The clear cables can be stubborn about curling up even after using warm/hot water to try to get them to straighten out.

I've used their cables before & find them very pliable & easy to use. Would buy again.
