Great piece of the kit for the farm. Great purchase and value.
Very easy to deploy. Worked great for our horses. Kept a horse at bay that was keen on leaning on easy to break rotten fencing. No issues with leaving up for multiple months while we addressed other more pressing issues issues on the farm.

Well constructed with reliable performance
Bought for protecting garden area from deer. Really needed its portable and flexible design. I’ve had to expand garden area and remove for topsoil delivery. So making changes is accomplished easily. The solar charger unit is necessary but ideal for my needs. The coiled wire (fabric with stainless steel wires) easily covers garden perimeter of 50 X 90 feet. The ten posts a part of this kit were not enough so I also purchased several of Gallagher’s temporary Fiberglass posts.

A very useful temporary fence!
I really like this fence. I can set up a rather large fence or paddock in a very short time by my self. Originally bought it to keep horses out of my vineyard but now using it to graze my alpine (large breed) goats on parts of my pasture during the day. This will really help me out until I can get permanent fences built. Been using with my goats for a month now with no escapes. I recommend this fence. Going to get a second on soon but my local farmers coop carry Gallagher equipment and is actually cheaper by about $60.

Broke while setting up.
Very flimsy cheap material. The handle snapped off while putting the fence up. In order to set up the fence you have to put the stake in the ground and walk away from it which pulls out the electric wire, it doesn’t take a lot of force however it was somehow enough to snap the handle off of the wire roll. I would not recommend getting this product due to the quality, almost $300 and we didn’t even get once use out of it. Save $200 and just get a roll of wire and step in posts from tractor supply.

Love it, but it is a bit of work to retract
Definitely would buy this again. I've been using the fence for my horses the last two weeks and it is fantastic. 300' allows me to section off my pasture keeping the horses separate from the cows and both seem respectful of the fence so far. I had been looking at 12' corral panels to create separate turn out areas, and this fence is so much better, 1/4 of the price, and allows me to configure it however I want. Rolling it up is a little more work than I think it should be, and I'm almost wondering if there's a defect in mine. I had a lot of trouble just trying to connect the handle, which should have been very straightforward. Despite that, it works very well. I prefer to have someone help me when I set it up because it's a lot of straight on the plastic posts when you make a corner unless someone is reinforcing it while you roll it out. Once set in place it's solid. Horses agree this was a solid purchase!

Easy set up
Well worth it for a portable fence option. I have a couple acres. With these I can move my sheep around as needed.

Good idea - keep improving
The idea is great. The actual product needs a little more thought.Mine came missing 5 of the orange tie-outs and pins for the poles. Of the tie-outs that ARE there, the tensioners are rediculously ineffective. They just don’t stay tight. The pins on the end of the poles are quite easily bent, and if you have particularly hard or rocky soil, the plastic step-on tabs used to push them into the ground are too small and too soft. I’m actually surprised I haven’t broken one yet. The poles themselves, while I like the design and features, are too soft and wobbly. They need to be stiffer. Driving them in takes 3 hands: one to apply downward pressure to the pole, one to hold it straight and steady and one to pound it in from the top.Again, I think the design is top-notch. My bull got a horn wrapped around one of the wires and took it for a jolly ride before I got the solar charger connected and turned on, but nothing was broken and it seems to be working well now that it’s up.
