I really don't like most pot holders I can find in the stores. They're too large, too stiff, or too thick to be handled easily and end up increasing the risk of dropping something. I really don't understand the ones that are a single stiff layer - how tricky to use without burning yourself! I've had a pair of these for years and finally had to throw them away since they were looking pretty stained and beat up. I was so happy to find Amazon still selling them and ordered three sets so I can put two away for future use. They are just as large as they need to be without getting in the way or touching burners. The pocket lets me quickly insert my hand and grab something without fiddling around. I hang them on a hook on the side of the refrigerator so they're accessible and not taking up counter or drawer space. When they need washing I put them in with my bathroom towels and hang them to dry. They are 100% my idea of what a pot holder should be, without unnecessary and annoying "deluxe" design elements. BTW the red is a true red, what I've seen referred to as "Christmas red".

My grandma had a pair of old potholders that had become the only pair she could use easily due to her arthritis or neuropathy. I found these and they seem to be exactly the same as her old favorite pair of potholders.She was overjoyed to have a new pair of these!

This was exactly what I wanted to replace some similar ones. They seem a bit stiff when they first arrive, but after washed in cold water, they are soft and flexible. I use them daily and they are a nice weight. I even bought another pair.

These pot holders are a nice size and easy to use on a pot handle. They aren't too thick and ridged, and hard to wrap around anything hot.

I tried everything for microwave cooking, you know, oven mitts and all. These just work the best to grab a hot dish and then use one underneath as a hot pad. Warning, I forgot one under a dish in the microwave once and after a few minutes it started smoking and changing color lol. So don't cook them in your microwave. I use them almost every day. Recommend.

We are both scratch cooks, we love Ritz potholders and towels and have not bought anything but for many years. Thick enough to protect, but you can still feel the object you are picking up. They do fine in the washer and dryer and do not become misshapen like others I had tried. Federal Blue is a medium navy blue .

Good color,weight seems like they will last.

I like the color and the thickness. Washed a couple times and no problems.

Love the quality and the color! They are well made, not stiff and hard feeling.

My only complaint is the price. They are well made and soft so easy to pick things up.

The potholders are excellent quality..Nice and thick to use. They are an excellent replacement for ones I had , the same style.

I have never seen toweling pot holders for sale in the UK before. I have used them all my life and have bought them in the USA every time I have been there or have had a friend send them.. And now i have found these which are perfect. Toweling is by far the best material for pot holders. It is thick and has a flexibility that other fabrics do not have. It washes well I wash mine every 2 weeks and they last for a decade. These are thick and perfect and wonderful.Thanks Amazon for sending these. I have the green which is lovely.This is the perfect kitchen tool for me and i never want to be without them. they do last years and work better than anything else. I love them.

I love terry cloth pot holders, but these ones were a disappointment. The cloth is too thick and coarse to bend easily, and the pot holder is too large for my hand, so they are difficult to use. They would work well for men with very large hands. I am a woman with a fairly large hand, and they are too big for me to use easily. The stitching is also a problem. Stitching tends to not hold up to repeat washing. I had to resew both of my potholders.
