Katherine communicates in pictures what thousands of words can't tell. The reader follows him up each mountain and learns the physical, emotional, mental, and financial challenges of such an endeavor. A photo of each mountain and its statistics help the reader understand the magnitude of the task. The purpose of the book isn't to inspire every child to climb tall mountains but to set a goal and follow one's dream.

I purchased this book to read for use in a classroom. It was just what I was looking for. I look forward in finding more copies of the book for the students.

I didn't like it too much. It seems to be more like a kid's book. I thought it was going to be more on the line of the other Everest books, with details.I wouldn't recommend it to others, unless they knew what they were getting.

Jordan Romero is a young man with inspiration. This book does a great job of relating his conquest of Mt. Everest. He is a teenage boy experiencing life at it's finest. Very enjoyable and easy reading for youth of all ages-and adults as well!!

Our grandchildren, ages 8 and 10, were inspired by the adventures of Jordan Romero. They (and we) also appreciated the concept of setting goals. Beautiful book.

Jordan is an inspirational young man with a great story. A lot of neat photos in this book from the different climbs that he has gone on. A quick, good read.

I loved the format, My grand kids really liked all the pictures and it was very easy for them to follow the story.
