Asurion protection plan did not protect a product from Day One as advertised
Ordered a plasma cutter and purchased Asurion 4 year protection plan and the product never worked even the first time when after we bought it. We haven't even had it a week. Asurion warranty states products will be covered if defective and not functioning from DAY ONE! I was just notified that by Asurion quote: " pre-existing failure is not covered by the protection plan. So beware of the protection plan that is purchased to protect products that don't work!

Supposedly I bought a 4-year protection plan, I don't know what for.
I received the notification that I purchased a 4-year protection plan but yet nothing about the item that is covered I don't even know what I purchased it for or if I even did but I was charged and I don't even know what is covered that is ridiculous they should at least tell you in detail what is covered what you bought it for and what parts are covered I am going to try to return it or seek information about what it is that I bought exactly it seems a little bit questionable and eyebrow raising about the business tactics.

Revised Review: My first review was based on a an e-mail hat I could not find
When I wrote my first review I was no in receipt of the protection plan. I was immediately contacted Asurion Ambassador. Within an hour, the misunderstanding was cleared up and I was in receipt of my protection plan. So I am very optimistic that we are off to a great start and any claim I may have will be taken care of. Great customer Service

Extended coverage claim if needed
Received an email confirming my purchase but absolutely no information was given as to what the product is that is covered. Not sure how I would actually use the coverage I paid for since there is no way to prove my purchase had the extended coverage.

Good value, I hope to never need it.
The best review is for a product that I have used. But, I haven't had to use the PP. However, it is nice to know that I have the protection in place.

Generator/warranty
We received the generator when we were supposed to. We’ve plugged it into the house and it runs everything that we wanted it to. Easy to crank. We also purchased the 4 year protection plan to go along with it. Of course we’ve had no reason to use it yet!

Having the 4 Year Protection plan is a good investment
It just beautiful to know if problems would arise on the Milwaulkee miter saw that I have a warranty and on big-ticket items purchase, I will suggest to anyone to purchase a guarantee for peace of mind.
