It is able to take an edge very well
This is a solid, no frills knife. I was able to sharpen it to an edge equal to my VG10 and AUS 10 knives, and easier and more quickly likely due to the thinness of the blade and lower HRC. It is very light and nimble. I guess my only negative is that is is very subdued and not flashy like a lot of the other knives you see, particularly from China of the same price. Doubtful any of your guests at a party would be blown back by the look. This is more or less a solid everyday use knife that can do most everything. The handle looks simulated wood polymer in composition, and the blade does not rust so will last a lifetime of abuse. I hope this helps.

刃先の焼き入れが甘い?イカの糸づくり1回で刃先が切れなくなり、毎回の研ぎ直しが必要。また、購入から2年目にシンクの包丁ホルダに数センチ上から落とし入れたら刃部の付け根が折れ、柄と刃部が分断され、刃部はホルダの底に落ちてしまった。欠陥品と判断せざるを得ない。
