Heavy Metal theatrics from pantomime dame Alice Cooper, caught live performing 15 tongue-in-cheek rock epics, including 'School's Out', 'Only Women Bleed', and 'No More Mr Nice Guy'.

It's really good being able to have the television special 'The Nightmare' ...
It's really good being able to have the television special 'The Nightmare' after all these years. It's a classic, cheesy production of a fine album, with both Alice and Vincent Price hamming it up for all their worthThe concert, however is a disappointment. I already had a copy of it, and the sound quality on this release is very inferior. Even worse, however, is the fact that the show has been edited, and the song 'Department Of Youth' has been removedThis is a worthwhile purchase, if only for 'The Nightmare', but if you want the concert, I would suggest you get one of the other releases

This is rock and roll theatre at it's best by the best in the business
Alice Cooper hits the road as a solo performer after The Alice Cooper band split up. This is rock and roll theatre at it's best by the best in the business.

Don't expect good sound or picture quality
Don't expect good sound or picture quality, probably why it's so cheap.... But for avid fans like me it's great to see the Welcome to my nightmare tour in its infancy

As a massive AC fan this was just wonderful. Have had the concert footage when it first came out in the 70s but have never seen The Nightmare really really enjoyed it .

Let the nightmare begin.
A great album from Vincent Furnier aka Alice Cooper from the mid 70's, sadly after the split with the Alice Cooper Band mates, Smith, Dunaway, Bruce and Buxton. this is a more commercial Coop album filled with great tracks and this DVD is an insight to those rock bygone days. A must buy for any Alice fans now and back then.

Another great retro concert film
Another great retro concert film. Modern recording technology is slicker but to see these classic performances is worth some clunky filming. Funny, quirky, totally Alice and totally enjoyable.
