Coins of America Lincoln Wheat Penny Starter Album Collection Kit; Great for Beginner Collectors

My son is a novice coin collector and I thought this was the perfect gift to get him going. The 'book' is actually a coin collector cardboard keeper. It has places for you to insert your coins. Plus some limited information about coins. It also comes with some steel and wheat pennies in pristine condition. It made him very happy and excited. He asks for coins from everyone haha! It seemed a good buy for me as it made him so happy. In retrospect, however it was probably a bit overpriced but then I'm not savvy on coin collecting so I could be completely wrong.

We purchased this for our 9 year old son, who is an avid coin collector. The kit comes with everything you need to get started with a penny collection, including some of the harder coins to find. Folders are sturdy and easy to use. Magnifying glass, while plastic, seems like it will hold up. Instead of hunting pokemon while glued to a device, send your kids out searching for pennies...learn something while you're your treasure hunting. A win-win all around!

I bought the Lincoln Penny Starter Kit for my 10 year old nephew as a gift and he loved it. I would definitely recommend this kit for beginning or avid collectors.
