Advertised dimensions: 18" outer diameter - 14" inner diameter - 4" to underside of plate. Well...... the REAL dimensions are: 17.5" outer diameter - 12.25" inner diameter - 2.25" overall height. There is a chance of the diverter slipping off the inner support. Yes, I could put the grill grate in first, but then my option of adding more fuel/ smoking wood easily gets reduced, at least for the large BGE. I don't mind the smaller inner diameter, but the outer should be 18 1/2" to 18 5/8" for a better fit in the 18 3/4" large BGE. It might be different in other manufacturer's models. Silly me for relying on the advertised dimensions, (even though the BGE website doesn't EVEN GIVE the dimensions!) It is 5/8" thick, which isn't bad....ahh, I'll give it one more star.

Just as good or better than original BGE part. A little on the pricey side but great quality and packaging was great so plate setter made it in perfect condition.

As seen in the picture, the legs are shorter than the BGE official conveggtor. This affects the distance between the heat and the meat and alters cooking time and style. It might not matter to most, but it’ll perform differently than the original.
