An old school GS. Job done.
I had an old oak table with some flat head screws with a massive slot that I couldn't shift. I hardly encounter screws like that in these days of posidrive screws and I didn't have a screwdriver up to the challenge of removing those screws.I also realised I didn't have a decent general service screw driver to pry, prod, poke, use as a chisel, use as a hammer and also stir paint. In my previous life, such a screwdriver was called a GS (for general service) and I had to get one.I got this, those screws came out very quickly and I have a cheap nice screwdriver. Yes the handle could be nicer feeling, but I don't care as I will destroy this screwdriver slowly by abusing it in ever more bizzare ways. The blade and tip is well made I have no complaints.

So far, so good
Not a bad price for a big screwdriver. I’ve only used it a couple of times so far to tighten small 6mm roofing bolts, but the quality seems reasonable, so I’m hoping it’ll last me a long time. Or until I lose it. The grip is pretty good.
