I Like It!
Got the Champion Pitch Back surprisingly 7 days after the using free shipping. They delivered it on Sunday! Nice job Amazon! It is a well built product. Took everything out of the box and began to assemble. Frame pieces came with protective plastic sleeves. Some reviews stated bungee hooks were rusty. Mine looked fine. Directions are just a sheet of paper with some small pictures and a few words. Assembling the frame was very easy. I assembled the base first then the top. You attach the chrome frame parts by just pressing the spring loaded locking button and sliding together each piece. The top of the net is a double net while the bottom of the net forks out into two nets for each side of the base. I decided to treat the net as one double net and just attached it to the throwing side of the base. For me It seems silly to have a double sided pitch back since we will only be throwing from one side. I see the advantage of a double net as:1. The back side of the base is now able to be easily taken off so you can store it better against a wall. This also lets you move it through doorways and then pop the back base back on.2. With the double net, it should last longer.3. If extra stability is needed, you could now use the back side as a place to stack weighted items on it or use the supplied anchor hooks.4. Now the extra bungee hooks can be used on the throwing side (the more, the better). The assembly took about an hour (just me). The hooking of the net was the time consuming part. Pretty easy all said and done. Hook a couple on top, then bottom, then sides, repeat.Seems like the net will hold up for a long time - I guess. Since it is December, we are using it inside. So far we have not needed to anchor or weigh it down. Nice rebound action using an indoor softball and indoor baseball. You can adjust the top half to 5 different angles. We like the flat angle for now. You have to be careful when changing the angle of the top part. Since it is under some bungee pressure, go slow so you don't pinch your fingers.Don't know if an older player would need more of an anchor - probably so. Outdoors we might need to anchor it down with the supplied anchors.Very satisfied with product so far, especially for the price.

Works great. Prepare for storage.
We have nothing to complain about as far as the product usage goes. It does exactly what it says. It allows my son (7 years) to practice by himself and work on his baseball pitching and grounding fundamentals. You have to get pretty close to the net in order to practice anything other than ground balls, but it is doable. The only complaint about this device is the storage. This unit is large. And unless you are wanting to go through drama every time you use it, there isn't a good folding method for storage. We store this in a shed and it pretty much takes up the entire floor. We understand that making this completely collapsible would have been difficult, but there has to be a better option.Overall, we would recommend this to any family that has a kid that doesn't like waiting on the parents to have time to practice. This allows them to get in some practice time by themselves.

Money well spent!
I received this pitch back net a few days ago, and set it up for my son to enjoy. He is relatively new and enthusiastic about baseball, and have enjoyed playing alone with the net every day since we set it up. My husband can't resist its charms, either! I set it up myself in about 10 minutes - it was very easy to set up, but a bit tedious with all the little bungee hooks. It really gives a lot of pop to the ball, and returns it quickly and at a good distance, even if you don't throw it super hard. It can be easily adjusted for grounders and pop flies, although we have not yet mastered the angle and speed needed for line drives. My son loves catching pop ups, so he usually sticks to throwing on the lower part. We also love that it is double sided, so when his friend came over to play, they could both play on each side (one played lax, one baseball)!!Money well spent, wish I had gotten it sooner. Love that he wants to play outside instead of on the computer.P.S. the net is actually blue - its hard to tell in the picture. Looks nice!

Well worth the extra money compared to bargain competitors
This net is a solid, high quality net. We had a bargain SKLZ net and it was total garbage. It would tip over, the frame would fall apart and the netting broke nearly immediately. This product has a very durable frame, quality connection straps and a very sturdy net. This net has enough weight to it that my son can throw an over weight ball at it without any stakes in the ground and it won't tip over. There is no comparison between this net and the cheap bargain nets. My son (9 years old) is really enjoying himself using this net and wants to use it every day. His aim isn't perfect but it is getting better thanks to the red strike zone tape that comes with it. When installing the strike zone, remember that it should be 17 inches wide and have your son or daughter stand next to the net so you can set the bottom of the strike zone at their knees and the top at the top of their elbows. Don't use all of the red tape. Doing so will make a strike zone that is too large. It is better to learn to throw at a low strike zone rather than what the product picture shows.Rather than putting the net on both the front and back bottom segments I just put all of the netting on the front. This allowed me to put more fastening straps on the front instead of wasting them on the back (that we'd never use). Also, by not putting straps and netting on the back that allows me to lay 25 pound weights on the back base crossbar to keep the net from moving around when we set it on concrete. When using this on concrete, put a towel or something under the front crossbar so that the straps don't fray. This net costs more than some bargain competitors but it is worth the extra money. The cheap models are just like throwing your money into the garbage can.

Just as advertised!!
Both my daughters play competitive volleyball and fastball. They both spend hours using this net for extra practice. It is durable, was easy to put together and highly recommended by both my kids.

Spitzen Teil
Klein und Groß sind begeistert. Tolles Spiel- und Sportgerät. Kein Billigteil mit dünnen, minderwertigen Metallstangen. Rahmen hochwertig, sehr stabil. Macht spaß. Empfehlung.

Well built and sturdy
Had it for a few months now. Took a bit of effort to install. It is well built and is very sturdy once installed correctly. Have not encountered any broken clips or torn netting. Used regularly by young kids (foam balls) and adults (softball). Love the rebound and the fact that it can used concurrently by 2 kids (one standing on each side, visualising throwing to each other).

Great LAX rebounder for the price!
We purchased this rebounder for our sons for lacrosse, and have to say that we are quite pleased with the overall quality considering the price. When researching the various rebounders, we read all the reviews on Amazon.com -- a few of which mentioned how the bungees on the bottom poles would wear out and break if you dragged the rebounder over pavement or patio stones. My clever wife came up with the idea of cutting and attaching a large pool noodle over the frame, which turned out to be a great solution to this problem (see attached photo). Also, based on a hint from one of the reviewers on Amazon.com, we chose to "double up" the bottom portion of the netting and only attach to one side (since we weren't going to use this in a double-sided arrangement anyway). This has the added benefit of using less bungees, so we have spares in case any break.
