UNIONBAYMen's Survivor Belted Cargo Short-Reg and Big & Tall Sizes

I wore these shorts for the first time today, and I was pleased to find that they fit and feel like an old, broken-in pair. They are well made of heavy fabric which, paradoxically, makes the shorts cooler because the fabric stands away from your legs, allowing for better air circulation. The pockets are deep and useful; the cargo ones are secured by some serious hook-and-loop patches on the corners and in the center of the pocket's flap. Your gear isn't falling out of your pockets, for sure. The belt included is the same color as the shorts and has a double-ring buckle for fine-tuning its adjustment. I always wear heavy suspenders with shorts or pants, and they work just fine with the belt. Easy to find right size, trusted brand and the material is sturdy and comfortable. I wanted to get more than just one color but the other colors I wanted were sold out. I have a feeling they go fast.

Hangs just above the knee. The sizing is on point, but generous. 11" inseam is great. Side pocket depth is good, flaps adequate. I like the velcro closures on the pocket flaps. I dont use the rear pockets. No current problem with my stitching, after 1 wash. Fabbed in Shri Lanka. Fabric is decent thickness and soft. Minimal number of belt loops. I like the color (Android), it looks like the pic. 1 point off for the zipper, which the up/down movement is not smooth, concern the this may limit the life of the shorts. Also the belt is a waste of material. Should can the belt and put that savings into a better, smoother operating zipper, then I'd give these shorts a 5! But from a price standpoint, I would recommend.

Nice feeling and fitting cotton pants but the belt is too thin and too long. It fails to hold its shape and binds up in the buckle.

To the curious consumer who might be questioning these short, I am by far no fashion guide or anything close to it. I will however say that these are my favorite shorts. They are comfy and light weight have tones of pockets to carry a large wallet, cell phone, care keys, you name it, there is a pocket. I like the nuetral colors as they pretty much go with most any T-shirt/polo/Hawian shirt you want to wear. We spent all day hiking around arlington and George washington estate and although it was a very warm and humid day, I never felt any discomfort from the these shorts. They are comfortable for lounging, Flying, Hiking or just ordinary everyday activities. These are my pick. you will have to see for yourself. however, I dont feel you will have any regrets. Enjoy!

Son is very picky about what he wears and loves this brand. Used to be able to find them locally but the store discontinued the brand. Was very pleased to find them on Amazon and at a great price. The quality is great and they last for a long time. Very comfortable according to my son.

I have been looking for a good quality heavy duty cotton replacement pair of cargo shorts for some time and these seem to be perfect.

Found pricing good around $38 but seems some colours go up as high as $62 which is rather pricey for cargo shorts. Having said that I ordered my first pair and found them fantastic as far as the fit, and comfort especially is great. Ordered a bunch more in various colours as good cargo shorts that actually fit as advertised with this quality are hard to find. They look great and well made also. These have become the cargo shorts I will buy from now on.
