Light, Sturdy, a Must-buy
I bought this Lorus Titanium after watching a review on YouTube by Ben's Watch Club and I am glad I pulled the trigger before it sold-out almost everywhere. Coming in at 36mm with 100m water resistance, a mineral crystal, protected crown, and weighing slightly over 1 oz, this Lorus is a featherlite watch that's a heavy-weight in value. The brushed titanium case, light and serviceable strap, and good timekeeping reflects Lorus' status as Seiko's UK-based subsidiary. The cream-colored face, hand and dial design (including the font used) makes the watch very readable. That said, the LumiBrite coating is nothing special but does last beyond 5 hours. Also, the second hand typically misses the indices but at least the mechanism runs very silent.Overall, this watch punches above its weight class and will find a place in any collection. It might not have the panache or the name recognition as other brands but a sub-US$90 titanium field watch from a Seiko subsidiary is a good draw for any casual buyer or watch enthusiast. As an aside, I love my Bertucci A2-T but if I got my Lorus first, I might not have bought the Bertucci at all. Kudos also to Rubicon Watches for their excellent service.

Surprising hints of brawny design but not too "military"
Amazing deal, and a shame these aren't generally sold in the 'states. This is my 3rd titanium cased watch (Bertucci A2-T, Seiko SNA139P chrono) and my 1st Lorus. I lost my beloved green faced SNA141P due to a broken strap pin, not noticing the watch was gone from my wrist. There I learned the hard way that one "downside" of Ti cased watches is, they are so light on the wrist you DON'T notice you have it on...or not. As a result of that experience, I now swear by "NATO" style bands - and so the very first thing I did with the Lorus is replace the band. The OEM band seemed to be a place where pennies were saved anyway and, as others have commented, a bit on the short side as well. Anyway, I didn't wear the OEM band so I can't offer any opinion on it beyond appearances. The one thing that I did NOT expect, even though this is a 100m WR watch, is that it has a screw-down case back. For the price, and especially being a titanium machining, I expected a pressed-on back. Amazing quality/cost ratio, no question. The crown guard is a nice feature and should go a long ways toward preventing damage to the fragile stem. This will likely be my general purpose "every day carry" watch 80% of the time. It's much sleeker and has a somewhat smaller face than my other Ti watches and is less obtrusive, while still retaining a no-nonsense but casual "field watch" styling. The jury is still out on accuracy, and to some extent, durability, but I have little doubt this will be a watch I keep and enjoy for many years to come.

Fantastic seller/Fantastic value....
The watch is nearly flawless, appears seconds hand is off just a hair, otherwise it is perfect. Flyweight watch with stainless buckle (which buckle end of strap outweighs the watch) and which stainless buckle will rust before ever the case or back does anything but only sit there, talking a sub-$100 titanium watch here, folks, with mineral glass crystal and 100m water resist, how I wish this had been available in my Army days. Size is "classic military/field watch", no modern wall clock on wrist. Strap is beefy, too beefy for the flyweight watch and will be swapped for a thinner one-piece to be more secure against springbar failure as well as reduce weight. My guess is the crown is a plated base metal such as brass, and expected on an economy watch, which crown/stem easily swapped out if desired. As to my seller, Rubicon in the UK, I ordered this watch on Amazon on Sun, it shipped Mon, and arrived Tues in OK/USA in Jan 2021 during a pandemic. OUTSTANDING.

nice watch for the price
like the smaller, flatter size, but the watch band is too small for a man's wrist.

Amazing value
This is a smaller watch, but it works very well on my average sized wrist. I am amazed at the value, it feels and looks fantastic. I am honestly excited when I need to tell the time.

Comfortable and light clocks
First look at the clock:Easy to read dial. Thin and light hours (with the strap weighs 33 grams). Clock hands glow very brightly, clearly seen even in the twilight. Second hand exactly falls into the division of the dial. Some drawbacks - only arrows are lit, could cause luminous spots near the time divisions on the dial. Also included is a short strap, my wrist fine, but after fastening left just two holes. If you have a wide wrist - just think about replacing the strap on some other. In general, the clock is very happy, if you need handy analog clock - I can easily recommend.Maybe later I will add impressions about precision.PS For two months in a hurry to use the clock for 3 seconds

The deal looked too good to be true.
Extremely cheep-looking dial with no lume. I accidentally dropped the watch on a hardwood floor and the glass exploded. It looks like it was under stress and ready to pop. I threw it away.

Titanium - 100m water resistant
Good looking little watch. Bought one many years ago for my son - delighted to find it is still available, and bought one for myself, for swimming. Attractive round face with arabic numerals - sweep second hand - titanium which makes it very light and gives a grey tone to the metal case. Each to his own but I think this watch is particularly "no fuss" beautiful.

Superb G10 styled Field Watch which is excellent all round
This is an excellent wristwatchIt’s styled as a Field Watch - as issued MOD issued to British Army - wristwatches such as a Seiko Pulsar G10 are quite similar.Seeing as Lorus is Seiko expect it to perform much as a Pulsar (also a seiko) G10 would. It ticks a lot of boxes:Sand blasted satin Titanium caseTitanium screw down casebackVery nicely made with a time honoured Pulsar/Lorus wave engraving on the caseback (as found on civilian versions of MOD issued watches)~36mm - perfect size for a field watch.Arabic numerals along with Military time on the dial.18mm lug widthVery good Lumibrite Lume on the hands.100m water proof - perfect for anything bar saturation diving.Very stylish in looks and feels quality (I know quality as I own a few quality wristwatches such as a Grand Seiko, Breguet, Omega and Rolex) of course this isn’t to those standards but is exceptional for the price point and easily comparable to watches costing 3 or more times as much.Don’t be swayed by the big watch craze - I have 7.3/4” wrists and on a ‘Bond NATO’ strap this looks superb in the size it is - anything larger wouldn’t look right as a field watch. It has 2 crown positions with a quickset date, and accurate time setting. The date and legibility is very good in all light. The second hand strikes fairly true and it keeps accurate time. You can ‘hack’ by pulling the crown out.I’m very happy with this - I’ve been wearing it as a daily wearer for work, for the gym, for walking and trekking and it has performed excellently - it also looks superb on the Bond NATO strap and attracts attention. It has survived the ‘sauna test’ Unscathed - hottest part of a dry sauna - on the bench - for 1 hour - and then I’ve been wearing it in the sauna and pool.I can’t think of another watch at this price point which could ever match thisMy only gripe is the crystal - it’s Hardlex and durable and adequately scratchproof - but it is slightly ‘boxed’ and protrudes a fraction of a mm above the bezel - it should be recessed ever so slightly as the slight recess means a lip of the bezel will protect it against bangs -To be honest I can’t complain - and I’d gladly pay double or triple if this had a sapphire crystal!Overall - if you’re looking for a versatile, attractive, stylish watch to wear every day - with a classic field watch design - that is durable, accurate, with good lume, a date and 100m water resistance - to dress up with different straps - and you don’t want to spend much - but this!

Brilliant watch for the money
Very clear, very light and still on the first strap after two years. Keeps excellent time and has so far been unaffected by moisture - although I don't wear it swimming or bathing. The fabric strap did start to smell but I was able to release the pins and put the strap through a wash in my jeans pocket - sorted.Definitely recommended.

Ottimo !
