My son participates in "Battle of the Books" and unfortunately living in rural Alaska has many setbacks, including the school district not receiving their books in a timely manner so I purchased this one for my son to participate in BoB and he already loves space and frogs but the fact that this also hints to Star Wars (we both LOVE the franchise) has made this book so charming and adorable. I cannot believe that I grew up as a kiddo not knowing this book as I would have loved it as a child! Great story, good artwork, and seriously funny (even for an adult!).

My son (who is entering second grade) read this book to me. It is at his reading level (early second grade), but the text did not seem to interest him. It is hard to say why not. The text was relatively clever and the pictures were well-drawn. He likes Frog and Toad much more (as do I).

Cute story. Perfect for a "first" chapter book!

My son absolutely loves these books as I read them aloud and the clear text will be easy for him to read later.

I had these read to me as a kid, and now I get to read them to my son! A fun read!

repetitive - too expensive for the story

This is a wonderful series that my seven year old has thoroughly enjoyed. The way this story ends is fantastic!

Grandkids enjoyed books
