Product looks different than Amazon pic.
The Amazon pic for this product makes it look thick and shaped, which is period correct for porcelain cover plates. Received product is very flat, thin and contemporary looking. Looks like a plastic cover plate. It doesn't match the amazon pic and doesn't match our other porcelain cover plates.

Very attractive
This switch plate is very attractive and looks great with the white tile in our bathroom. I did find out the hard way though that you need to be careful installing a porcelain switch plate. I broke the first one by tightening the screws too much. I liked it enough to order a 2nd one though!

Pretty but VERY fragile.
Careful! I didn’t see any existing cracks in this when I went to install it...and I have ceramic/porcelain switch covers in my house, but this one snapped when installing. I didn’t feel I put much pressure on it. Maybe I got one that was weakened in some way. Not even worth returning. I ordered something else.

Poorer quality than previous.
Pooer quality than previously from this company. Back and edges not glazed. Front just flat instead of raised decorative edge previously. Although careful not to over tighten, broke upon installation.

Adds WOW factor to your tiled backsplash!
These switch plates are very difficult to find. When you do a kitchen backsplash with white subway tiles these add extreme WOW factor. I recommend these plates and buying them from this marketplace seller! Each plate was individually wrapped with bubble wrap and arrived safe and sound.

They were ceramic but a different style than pictured.

I use this in the bathroom...looks good and easy to clean
I was looking for a light switch cover that would be easy to clean and look nice. This light switch met my requirements.

Bad quality porcelain, glaze.
This appears to be some kind of mixed slip at best. If it is porcelain, it is poor quality as the and the glaze does not even cover the visible portions of the front. I was going to paint and fire this but am afraid to put it in my kiln. NOT good quality even if you don't intend to paint it. I am sorry I didn't open it sooner as I would have sent it back. It is lousy quality in short.
