Well constructed shoe - comfortable and very durable. Completely waterproof but breathable.Long rural or simpler paved walks no problem.I take a long time considering shoes before buying - these are excellent on surfaces that do not need a high-rise above ankles.Highly recommended

High quality product which you would expect for the price. One of the best things about MIENDL pricing is they fit to size. If you are size 11 that’s what you get. So many other brands just don’t deliver on this. Look great and ultra comfortable. The old adage you get what you pay for applies.

This is my second pair so they must be good. Don't much like the colour so 4 stars.

As someone who spends a lot of time on their feet as a postman, I was recommended these by a shoe fitter while trying out various shoes. In short, if you’re looking for a pair of shoes that are sturdy, light, waterproof and breathable but also keep your feet warm with the right socks on - then these are the ones for you. Can’t recommend them enough, especially for arch support with its carbon fibre support.

These shoes are to the expected Meindl standard: well designed and made. They are comfortable straight from the box. I bought them for ‘tramping about’: I do about 40 miles a week on town footpaths and country paths. (Mountain boots for the hills and mountains!) The shoes feel very steady and supportive, even over roughish ground. They are remarkably light in weight for a quality shoe. I have to use orthotic insoles: they fit a treat in these shoes. I particularly like the laces: they stay tied with just one bow, there’s no need for a double bow and lots of spare lace flapping about. An excellent product.

Meindl quality as one would expect from this superior make. I knew from my first wearing they were going to be “ keepers”. Very comfortable with a roomy toe area & good padding throughout the shoe bed. Very pleased to find a shoe that ticks all the boxes, as have been trying various other makes for some time. Success.

These shoes have only covered a few hubdred miles and now leak even on wet grass. Absolute garbage.I got these refunded and ordered some more as the originals were the wrong size.Merrells are better than this overpriced rubbish.
