Magpul Core Flight Modern Nomex Gloves

Good year round gloves, warm in winter, cool in summer; Magpul makes a wide range of gloves like these leather nomex. So identical to the Blackhawk Aviator Flight gloves,(only difference is*elastic cinching* Magpul is palm side;B/H back of hand) ; In a size 8 (medium) *Magpul* glove is about 1.5" longer from mid-finger to cuff.........No complaints here; it is true as to the 3 finger touch screen capable & i can pick up a dime on a hard surface (like Blackhawks) as stated. These are still very well made, *mind you* in China (like my 2 old pair of B/H's). To measure your hand, if you don't know your size: with a seamstress or mylar tape, *measure from middle* of hand around to other side, (NOTE: do not include thumb) to get your size: ie: size 8 is a medium. BTW, My Magpuls & my old Blackhawks were and are made in Vietnam. Still, amazingly well made gloves. Thanks, Magpul Industries.

I have flown for years using the original issue nomex gloves. I used to cut the finger tips off of the left hand so i could write my clearances and atis on my kneeboard ipad. Fingertips on these gloves are touchscreen friendly. Also quality seems to be good. I was a size 10 in the traditional nomex glove and the XL fit perfect. The thumb is a tiny bit to big but whatever its not going to affect my ability to fly. Leather seems to be of good quality. Haven't flown with them yet so cannot attest to how well they will last. They are not cheap, but whats another $50 in the world of aviation.... Fly safe

quality and finish on these are great. there are no big seams in the finger tips with extra material diminishing feel. my hand measures at 8.5" and the medium size is a little tight(still full range of motion) but I expect them to stretch with wear. fingers have regular flex and movement(I'm typing on a regular keyboard with them now) the gauntlet area extends about 3" from the base of my palm and had about .75" of slack around my wrist however it is somewhat difficult to get over a watch(fitbit charge in this instance)I do wish the thumb was as slim fit as the fingers but understand the difficulty with the materials.there was some residue from I assume tape used to set the pattern but it came off easyI plan to use these while riding and will update how well they do with the wind once the season starts

I’ve been using Nomex flight gloves for 10 years. I wanted a black pair to use with dress clothes so I decided to pay a higher price to get a quality glove. The quality is good but the fit is terrible. The thumb is at least 1/2 inch too long, so if you were planning on using your thumbs for touchscreen forget about it. Second big issue, is that these gloves stained the inside of my thumb and index finger black after the first day I used them. And this is leather dye so it doesn’t come off no matter how much you wash, it penetrates the skin. It’s been 3 days since I stopped wearing them and my fingers are still a faded blue color. Would not buy or recommend.

I measured my hand and it fell within the :Large" size. I ordered "Large" and am very happy with the fit. The gloves fit like a second skin and provide needed flexibility. I haven't gone shooting with them yet so I don't know how my hot shotgun barrel will feel when briefly touched but as for the fit I'm totally happy with it.

Fit on fingers and across the hand is as it should be. The thumb is way too large and disproportionate to the rest of the glove. They are well made but you better have a big thumb if you hope to have a snug fit all around. I would probably not purchase again.

It would be perfect if magpul sells coyote brown version.
