Simple and practical book on leadership.
This is a book on how to avoid common mistakes as a leader. It is practical and short, which means that you can read it easily. Sometimes our most usual mistakes are the ones that we don't see. Simplicity is what makes this book a good choice for leaders.

This is a great book for leaders in Retail Automotive.
Tommy Gibbs gets the car business. As someone that runs a large dealership in the Metro Detroit area, I look for voices in the business that can help me keep my team on point and Mr. Gibbs has become my "go to" lately. I am a regular reader of his weekly Zingers so when this book was published, I knew I would be a buyer. Just a tip, if you have the option to read on an e-reader, that is the way to go here as the hard cover costs approximately 700% more! That said, I was so impressed by the digital copy of the book that I bought 3 hard covers for my sales managers for Christmas (holidays...whatever!). There are some "ouch" moments when Tommy makes you realize that some of your behaviors are, in fact, stupid so check your ego at the door. Anyway, if you are in retail automotive and are either a leader or someone that aspires to be one, this book is a pretty good place to start. Nice work Mr. Gibbs!

Keep it simple!
Great read! I also subscribe to Tommy's zingers! This book is insightful and a perfect read for car guys and gals. I was pleasantly surprised to see my uncle Rob Howe quoted in the book! I put a lot of weight into Tommy's perspective. His insights paired with the velocity method of Dale Pollock have our dealership turning our inventory over 12 times a year. AWESOME GUY! A great book for anybody
A great book for anybody, in any leadership position or who might want to become a leader in the public or private sector. A quick read that is spot on that inspires you to go to work and be a better leader. I have heard Tommy speak at a 20 group meeting years ago, he inspired me then to be a better car dealer and he has done it again with common sense that has once again motivated me in my work and personal life. This is a must read for anyone, thanks Tommy.

I have found him to be a valuable source of good advice and would recommend his book highly
As always Tommy presents an interestingly obvious way to do business. He hits it right on the head and tells us things that we think we know. We usually do, but are execution is weak and Tommy give us the intestinal fortitude to see reality and make decisions. I have found him to be a valuable source of good advice and would recommend his book highly. He motivates better than anyone I have seen.

Great read
Tommy Gibbs new book is a must read for anyone interested in improving their used car operation and leadership in general. His writing style is one of a kind - short, funny and absolutely direct. I find it's not what I want to hear but is certainly what I need to hear. His newsletter is also something I look forward to reading 52 weeks out of the year.

Tommy Gibbs brings it to you right in your office
This is a great book for groups of managers to read and review in a group or individuals that want to be the best that they can be. This is an easy read but gets the thoughts going with a group after reading it. Any business could use this business lesson but if you are in the auto retail industry or the factory you must read.
