Anyone who coaches or is thinking of being a coach needs to read this book. It starts a little dry, but is sooooo worth grinding through the first several chapters.

I would recommend this book to any level of coaching, from professional to midget league. It is filled with real life scenarios that bring a coach and team closer together. The examination of how our coaching attitude has to change because of societal changes is on point. This is not just a football book, or a sports book, this is a team book. Whether your team is at work, your family, your athletes or your friends, the knowledge shared will create a better relationship with all of them. Coach Duke does a great job of supporting his research with not just real life attributes, but biblical connections from the Master Coach.

Once you read this book you may change your entire outlook on coaching. If you want to find a way to make a difference in young kids life’s this book will give you the mindset to do so.

This book has opened my eyes about coaching and the best ways to positively impact each young person! I loved this book! Recommend it to any type of coach!

Was given this book by a co-worker and didn't necessarily care to read it but I'm very happy I did. I think generation changes make this a necessity for coaches. If you want to motivate athletes the proper way and leave an impact read it. I picked it up during a difficult time during coaching and it made me think deeply about what I was doing and why.

After coaching for over 20 years, I found myself wondering if there had to be more to this profession than just chasing after the next win or championship. I needed to find a new "why" for continuing as a coach. This book helped to provide for me a new vision and outlook moving forward. I still desire to produce champions and a successful program, but I want it to be on a foundation that lasts. I believe this book can be a great resource for any coach looking for personal growth.
