Must read for anyone in sales
Joe was in the guiness book of world records for selling the most cars. This by far is one of the most difficult things to accomplish. He has a lot of insight and anyone who wants to excel in sales, this book is a good read.

Basic - more for beginners
I really didn’t learn anything new as a veteran of 30years in the car business. It is certainly dated and not geared for the internet based business of today. Good basic practical information

great book great rules
great book great rules. only thing is car dealerships don't work this way anymore and you don't really have an option either because managers lie to u and in turn u say what you hear which you think to be true, come back and its a lie. Frustrating job

Very good read
This is a very good motivational book! Joe tells it like it is and shows you how he was successful in the auto industry. He gives very good tips on how a positive attitude and smile will help win over people.

Magic Formula
I wanted a "magic formula' to kick start my sales, this is very close. I am now trying to put into practice the things Joe recommends. The book is well written, entertaining, easy to understand. Many of his "rules" are good life habits.

Terrific Book for Sales Professionals
While the style of this book won't appeal to everyone since it is very much about what the author did, it should make total sense to anyone who is trying to achieve something extraordinary in their life. The fact that this guy managed to make any money at all selling American cars during this period is impressive in itself, but that he ended up as the top salesman in the world for 12 years in a row is no less than astonishing. The only thing that would improve the book is a system to turn these 13 rules into an implementable plan. But, that's something I can easily do by putting his 13 rules into a 13 week repeating cycle like Ben Franklin did with his 13 virtues. All in all, an essential read for anyone trying to bring consistency into their sales method.Highly recommended.

Good Ideas about how to Serve your Customers!
Good Ideas about how to service your Customers to get Maximum Results and obtain repeat business.I thought Joe repeated himself quite a bit. I thought he could have covered his 13 ways or keys to closing a sale in fewer pages and still tell his stories to illustrate his point.
