Actually not that hard to install - use brain
I was quite intimidated by all the reviews saying these were so difficult to install on the rim. But I installed mine in 5 minutes. It didn't take me long to figure out that considerable force would needed. I'm over 60 and not a big person but the force you must bring to bear is your brain. There are a few keys to making this job easy:1) Get some good tools, specifically pry bars, at least 2. Don't use chiseled or sharpened pry bars. Here's a set: Performance Tool W2020 Pry Bar Set, 4-Piece 2) Warm up the tires to make them more pliable. I used sunshine but I suppose a hot water bath would work.3) Apply soapy water.4) Getting the first inner edge of the tire inside the rim is really easy so I won't provide instruction. Getting the rest of the tire inside the rim is considerably more challenging, instruction follows.5) This is crucial. Use vice grips to hold the tire in place. Just clip it on the edge of the rim, it won't mar the metal enough to do any harm.6) This is crucial. Either step or kneel on the tire as you pry around from where the vice grips are holding things in place. As you gain ground either leave the pry bar in place or kneel/step on the tire to keep it in place as you move around. Before you know it you'll hear a nice, rubbery sounding thump as the last of the tire pops fully over the rim. Yeehaw!7) Use a strap around the circumference of the tire with a crank to compress it to the rim. Use a good air compressor with plenty of power to air it up. Put some soapy water on the tire where it meets the rim to ensure there are no leaks. After reading all the reviews about how hard this was for folks, I told my wife it was going to be a 2 beer job, but I got it done before I finished the first one.

I became a man and changed my own set of tires!
City boy here that moved to the country seven years ago and had to purchase his first lawn tractor and loves it.. until it was time to change my front tires. I wanted the same brand and contacted a local store to order and change them as I had no clue on doing this. Now let it be known that I work in the Automotive industry yet never changed a tire.. when I heard the price for the tires and changing them... I said it was time to grow up and become a man and my friends all laughed at me. I saw the same brand and style on amazon, but they offer for a few dollars more a better version which I purchase as set. They arrived and I went on to YouTube and saw how easy it was to unmount the old and mount the new ones.... I did it.. posted it all over social media that today I became a man :) all my friends in the Automotive world laughed at me.. but I can honestly say it was fun and these upgraded models are much better for traction and small hills that my land has in several places. So great price, easy to change and I highly recommend these!

Great Turf Master Tires for John Deere
Nice hefty 4 ply tires. Original brand, Carlisle that John Deere put on lawn tractor when new except I moved up from Turf Saver to Turf Master tires. Turf Master are a better quality, better traction, longer lasting and more puncture resistant to thorns, etc. than Turf Saver. Are made in China which hurts me to buy, but no one is making this size in USA. Stay away from off branded, no name Chinese junk tires. Highly recommend these!

Great tire, great price
WORD UP on SHIPPING!!!!If you read the other comments about these tires being scrunched into a box, let me inform you that the shipping has "improved"By improved I mean, the tires are apparently no longer being scrunched into a box! Now they are shipped without a box! My tires arrived in tire-shape, unscathed by travel, with two areas of plastic wrap keeping them together. No complaints from me, as the other reviews had me a bit nervous. The tires were relatively easy to mount - I didn't use the hot water method. Instead, I rubbed the sealing edge with a bit of dish-soap. I also had a straight thick flat head screwdriver, and a crowbar on hand to help get the final bit over the rim. If you plan to air up at home, and don't have a compressor, then buy or borrow a ratchet strap. wrap it around the mounted tire, running along the center of the tread, and crank it relatively tight until you get a seal. Just be sure to release it as soon as the tire makes a full seal to the rim edges during inflation.

40% better price than the brick and mortar stores I checked!
I priced these exact tires out at my local commercial lawn care equipment distributor and at the regional discount tire chain. In both cases the tire was going to cost me around $110 plus tax. I've never bought tires from Amazon but checked them out on a whim. They had them and they were less than $70 delivered from Carlisle! I was so pleased! They arrived more quickly than most of my PRIME purchases even though they said it might take a day longer. My experience has been that Carlisle tire last longer than off brand turf tires. I used to try and save money on knockoff brands but quickly learned that the useful life of off-brand turf tires is sometimes half of what I could get out of a Carlisle. I have observed this with several sizes of turf tires as well as trailer tires.Performance Note: I got 700 hours out of these tires on the back of an Exmark Vantage. This usage would obviously be better or worse depending on many variables but its a good ballpark.

Good looking, great tires,
I have several trailers, from a small utility trailer, 19' boat trailer, and a car-trailer. . I've been using Carlisle tires on all of them for years. These were just another purchase for me.I purchased these for a vintage Cub Cadet 108 Garden Tractor. They are a very close match to the original tread. They are easy on my turf, and don't slip, even on the steep areas of my yard. I had installed an identical set way back in 1996 (24 years). They still had great tread, and held air, but finally started to sidewall crack. They are somewhat difficult to install yourself. Its easier with tire mounting tools- rather than big screwdrivers and pry-bars. You will also need a couple ratcheting straps, wrapped around the tire- to help seat the bead. If I wasn't so stubborn, I would have taken them to a tire shop.

Quality product at reasonable price.
Excellent Quality product , exactly as advertised , delivered in what seemed like impossible delivery time and all at a very reasonable price..Was having puncture issues every other day with the original 2 ply tyres which now seems like a thing of the past with these new 4 ply tyres.
